funny i have been having several phone calls everyday from this number, they didn't speak
until today.  they asked for my son.  they said it was a personal matter.  i asked them who they were and they garbled papcap.  i again asked them what they did, they said they were unable to disclose this.  i then said i hadn,t got the name clearly and asked them to spell.  they spelt cap quest but wouldn'y give me a number.  i did 1471 and then googled it.

got a call today on my mobile asking to speak to a neighbour of mine it took 3 attempts to get the name as the person spoke with a broad scottish accent.  When i explained i was not the person they were after it was an ok we wont call you anymore Thanks.  I goggled the number and they have web page however the email i sent to the contact us page got sent back as cannot deliver.  The company in question is Cap quest 01252 576376.  Set of Con artists they said they were a mailing firm for lots of firms

this number called my mobile asking to speak to a mr christopher appleton (my son) when asked why they wanted to speak to him all they would say was that it was a personal bussiness matter to which I replied if you wont tell the nature of your need to contact him on behalf of someone else then you should return the matter to them as I am not prepared to pass on any details with out knowing more about the nature of the call

Just had a call from this number claiming to be DPSL a mail forwarding company and asking if a certain person lived next door as they had some personal mail to forward to her, I thought this was very suspicious and stated that I did not know the neighbours! Have since found this web site and it seems my suspicions were correct.

This company contacted my neighbour this morning asking her to confirm my
address. She did not give them any details and contacted me Immediatley. I have now contacted the company and they claim to have mail for me. I asked why they went to hassle of tracing my neighbour when they could have easily traced me as I am in the telephone book and also on the electoral roll. They said they had traced me via the electoral roll but had to confirm this with my neighbour. Very strange. I am now worried as I have very stupidly given them all my details!!

Just had a call from this number. They asked if they had "got through to <road name>". Quite amusing as it's an address I lived at years ago where the road name sounds like it could be an actual name. They hung up without identifying themselves when I said no, but it was a male caller.

My wife received a call from 01252576376 today asking for her under her maiden name.  My wife said no and gave her married name, (which may have been a mistake after reading this thread), they said sorry and hung up.

Some guy just called from this number asking about a Mrs White that lived in a property I sold in 2007.
Shoddy, very shoddy.

My neighbor  has just told me she had a phone call from these people asking about my house, stating that they were DHL and had a parcel for someone in my house. They then asked if a man lived at my address in their eighties. (I know some days I  look rough, but I am female). She is a very good neighbor and looked the number up first. This company is very dodgy and should be exposed in the papers

Had a call for my previous neighbour - just told them that I no longer lived there and hung up (which is true).

I've had one of these before but hadn't answered the number but, what does worry me more is how have they got my mobile number?

My neighbour got a call from this number  asking for me, they told her i was getting a delivery the next day and asked if i would be in and to pass on the number for me to call back.They said they were from a company called dbsl/dvsl or something. They told her they got her number from the electoral roll i thought it was a bit odd them phoning my neighbour but i dont have a house phone and thought that was the reason. I was confused because i wasnt expecting any delivery. So I googled the number and found this site.Im glad i did!!!

My neighbour and I have just called them to tell them we know its a scam and notn to call us again, the lady who answered had the cheek to ask for my phone number lol so i put the phone down

what do they want? they called my number and asked for me and if i lived at my address (I didnt give it) but confirmed the correct one....then said they had a parcel for my neighbour and could i sign for it.... i asked how they got my number and said they got it from some national database....started asking questions about neighbour but i didnt recognise the name, so i just said i didnt know them very well..... are they after me or the neighbour???  i dont have any debts, never owed anyone any money....it seems these are a dodgy debt collecting agency.... what shall i do if they call again? how can i report them...

As you say, its just a dodgy dca, using unlawful methods to try and trace debtors. Owing money is NOT a crime. Anyone receiving a call from these parasites should tell them to sling their hook. Bottom feeding dca, with NO powers at all.

Got a call asking me for my house number and did I know the name of the person next door.Suspected they were fraudsters and hung up. They called from 01252 576 376

hi there i got call from this number asking about friend who live next door by ex girl friend which i dont live that any more but some how  this number had my number and name which no one and there say  there got on line from  my ex  girl friend address which is not right  as  my bill come to my house that i live  at  so i would like to no who there are and what there do

Received a message on the phone asking to call 0800 542 6413 quoting a reference number, when i did they was asking for a person to confirm address as they have mail to forward.  Wouldnt say anymore.
