This is deffo swinton insurance, rang number back and got an automated message saying ring this number ... so i rang it and a swinton sales rep answered, so i paniced said STOP PHONEING ME YOU STALKER! and hung up, woops!

As ever one nows this has got to do with the car insurance i have calls after calls and there is no 1 there i have not rung it back just

They have a local branch - I will call in on my way home and keep them very busy for an hour getting me quotes for policies that I will never take out. Who knows - I might even get a coffee out of it.

I got the call within about 20 minutes of using the Tesco car insurance website.

Swinton is the ONLY company that has ever cold-called me. I am registered with the telephone preference service and am ex-directory. I never give my phone number except to my credit card company who insist that I give a landline number for credit check reasons. I am careful to opt for complete privacy on any on-line shop where I have to give a name and address. After this silent phone call from Swinton, I am never going to buy any of Swinton's products.
