they ring but silent call

Got a call this afternoon out of the blue from Stan Clark on behalf of Emcas - he gave me the contact number 01473 241700.  The same afternoon had a message left on my answer machine from Emcas and was asked to call 03890 324055.

Tis all a bag of bollocks if u have an endowment still running u got be quick before you run outta time if u cashed it in u have a good chance, pensions peps and isas bonds u have a good chance, whole of life u stand a chance investments worth a go, Ppi   Worth a look as well but in reality what u got 2 loose no fee up front to get money back u couldn't get on yr own ! seems a fair price to pay. Get yr docs out and have a look if u qualify if u don't then stop whining if u do get the holiday brochures out plan where to go with the money your going to get, would u turn down your next tax rebate? Or turn down an utility bill refund, money don't grow on trees and the companies u trusted didn't have shortfalls on there profits why should u not get something back that is rightfully yours

Have had several calls, no message left on answer phone. A man called when I was in, said he could claim back insurance on credit card I no longer have. Very pushy won't take no for an answer said he would phone back next day when I had found documents relating to the card.
I'm disabled and it is not always easy to get to the phone.

The easiest thing to do is say yes to every question. They can get no further information and just give up. Also it is hillarious to listen to their frustration. Ha

if you ask them to take you off their list they have to do it, my wife works for them and they are a geuine company.

God what a bunch of wet total [***] you all are. I received a call from EMC, listened, nothing applied to me, asked to be removed from database, never got called again. SImple. Grow up and stop moaning you total [***].

Can I just ask a question? Why is it that people in this country have a hard time trusting companies that are trying to help? Just to clear up a few points that have been raised, Number one this comment is not being left by the company in question or an employee I know thats going to be hard for you sensitive people to understand, but get a grip. Second is that there is such a thing as the "Ministry Of Justice" talk to your lawyer and they will explain to you that they them selves are regulated by the "Ministry Of Justice" as are any other person or institution within the legal sector. The third point that I would like to make you aware of, is that the reason this country is in such a broken state of disrepair is because naive narrow minded individuals such as yourselves are to stupid to do any research about the things you do not know or understand and you then assume that your own beliefs are the correct answer. last but not least and to prove my point about individuals being "naive and narrow minded" I would like to qoute the user named "mutley"

Now I understand that being narrow minded means you feel the need to stereotype, you are perfectly entitled to do this, however if you wish to stereotype and prove a point about "lack of grammar or use of proper english" then please make sure that this is what you do. Well that clears that up then. I got loads of calls from this company and I never buy anything over the phone. I let my guard down one night and agreed to let them send me the forms, I actually did have an endowment policy sold to me by some rip off merchant in 1991 to line his own pockets not once but twice. I had planned to try to claim them myself but have you tried to get info out of these insurance companies? anyway to cut a long story short i let them do them and got a couple of grand back- i paid them 42 percent or something but i still eneded up with just over£1500 not bad for signing my name- a solicitor would probably want £150 an hour anyway. I than got a call asking if i had any payment protection on loans/credit cards i didn't think i had but it turns out that i had it on 2 credit cards and 2 loans but they cant claim store cards back- they gave me a websirte which is www.creditexpert.co.uk which is not theirs but i got all my credit dets off it- it is well worth a look by the way. i havent heard about my loans and credit card claims yet but i cannot fault any of the staff there as they have been proper helpful- i know all these sales calls are a pain but sometimes they can result in a positive outcome like they did for me- if i get nothing for the other stuff i'm still left in pocket-  what company is gonna give stuff away?? asda, tesco comet currys i could do with this company not charging as much to be honest but still got more than i started with

well done indeed. you probably don't work and if you do where do you or your company get the jobs from??? do you quote them (sales) advertise (sales) do cheaper rates (weak sales) or just beg for it you idiot. Sales isn't easy but talking to dicks like you makes our job twice as hard. i only came on this site to see who called me but after seeing some of these moaning idiots i don't think i will come on here again. you idiots fill out the surveys and then put the phone down when sales people call you. I know that getting calls from sales people is a pain but at least we are not sitting on the dole claiming the tax you pay every week so stop being such a dick and realise the more polite you are the more chance of you being taken off their databases you idiot.

I personally would urge anyone that has had or ever had a loan to contact the bank themselves, part of these companies selling point is to make out its difficult to do yourself or the banks will just offer a small amount of compensation but if you take a little time to work out how much ppi you paid its fairly easy just takes a bit of time writing letters back and forth. 30% fee is high and it was even on the news recently not to use these companies.  They are pushy and will get you to find your loan details while they have you on the phone, this is because once you commit and sign the paperwork they send you, if you then decide not to go ahead with their service they charge you its in the small print and they would never tell you this part.  So don't ever just say yes to get rid of them, firmly say no and stick to it, or put the phone down as they are trained to have a comeback to every no you say and can be very convincing
