Is Net Search Media part of the same group ? Just had a call on 0161 236 9891 from a girl calling herself Rochelle trying to sell a lifetime placement for 7 aspects of my business on Google places, which used to be Google Maps for £150 +Vat, Told her I would have a look around before I made a descision. Looking at this lot , its going to be a No Thankyou. Thanks for all your contributions on here everyone

I fell for it as well. Reported them to trading standards and watchdog! I paid initial £118.80 for initial month
They took the second payment before the initial month was up. I contacted them on 18th October when I realised it was a scam - prior to end of initial month period and was fobbed off that accounts department were busy and got an email they would contact me within next 24-48 - trying to allow time for next payment to leave my account. Just read the terms and conditions on their website - particularly the bit about chargebacks - just shows what a set of crooks they are.

It just seems everyone I speak to - bank, consumer protection, can't do anything about these scum.

i have stupidly gave this co my card details , i hardly slept worrying about it and have now cancelled my card , i did however speak to some one today , who assured me that i was on the 1st google page in pink highlights [ i cant find it] i was also told i could freeze my ad any time and use it for 30days which i could use over months even up to a year , , iv not even had 1 phone call, expensive mistake , cant believe i was taken in by this nothing has rang true , i was also informed that they had sent me 2 emails which they havent and im still waiting to be called back , wont do this again ..........and they did say they were google

BEWARE....I got scammed by one of these company's called Dotcom Chrome. My bank eventually paid back the £1400 taken illegally by them from my bank card. They are con artists. Dotcom Chrome, I believe after a few months and too many complaints became, Top Spot Marketing, who then became Fulcrum media, who now seem to be Netsearch Media.......DON'T TOUCH THEM! I've today called Trading Standards & the Police about them. I'm expecting a call from Michelle of Netsearch tomorrow morning because I didn't let on to her I knew the scam.........mmmmm what to say!!

got phone call from 01614258161, had a unsolicited sales call from british gas 2 mins earlier and all i get is sales calls - so when i asked whos this , he said doesnt matter who i am you prick , so i hung up , then they rang again to say im a southern [***] - even though im not - weird people and very annoying

youll get a cold call from a manchester number it may change but usually one of these : 0161 236 9897 , net search media - its a scam operation run by michael sean critchley , 49a newton st manchester , used to have same scam going as worldwide marketing solutions registered in oldham , on 01614258161  , search for either company online and you will see lots of people who have been ripped off for large amounts of money , cant believe hes still trading as its fraud , but guess he'll be on watchdog / rogue traders , and on her majestys pleasure soon

Ditto. I emailed them within 24hrs cancelling the arrangement/agreement, but they continued to take further funds from my acount. I went through my banks disputes deptgiving copies of cancellation email and other stuff as evidence. My bank got my money back so only lost £140 instead of double that. It seems that once you give your card details over the phone to another party it gives them authority to access funds as often as they like from your account, because they have all your details

They called me on the 10/11, I spent an hour on the phone with a very knowledgable young lady, who was not pushy and knew her stuff.
The service I was offered for £200.00 + VAT was a google places listing. This is a free to place ad with google, NSM state with their experience they can ensure the ad is setup correctly. Convinced I paid the fee on a CC.
A week later my Google pin arrived in the post, now awaiting the advert to go live.
I cannot say as others are doing that they gave scammed me, however my concern is that the amount of people posting in here cannot be wrong. I contacted my CC company who have blocked my card and issued me a new one, just in case.
I have called them twice re different issues and each time the advisors have been polite, efficient and knowledgable.
I must stress I do not represent them n anyway, I'm a sole trader who is simply worried I too may have been a possible victim.....time will tell. At least they cannot get more money should the worst be proved true.
