https://whocallsme.com/Phone-Number.aspx/01612369818 - KWe had a call from Net Search Media this morning saying they could do the above with the advertising etc. They also said they would make a website for us as well as the 1 months advertising for £99.
I know websites normally cost over £900 so is it worth paying the money for a cheap website to be made and then to cancel their service after 1 month or are they more hassle than they are worth?- Caller: Net Search Media
- frank miller replies to PJW| 1 replyI strongly disagree with regards to this allegation i payed the company £599 for my six keywords and my campaign has been running very successfully thanks to these guys..
- Michael Higginswhat a rip off company...they claimed they were from Google and promised me 3 top keywords at £299 . I fell for it to as they did this pre launch. I was shocked as i did appear. I have cancelled my card and set up my own Adword through Google. Free setup plus you get a voucher of £30 to get started. Am still learning how to use it and i have got one lead already from the one i did myself.
They all are scam companies..put the fone down.- Caller: Worldwide MS

search to the bottom for a number ;) - franssmith100 replies to NeilWorld Wide Marketing (also previously trading as Net Search Media)
I was contacted at the end of July 2011 by World Wide Marketing, explaining that they handle advertisement on behalf of Google. In fact I was lead to believe that they form part of or are owned by Google, that they are a Google company.
I was offered a 1 x month trial at 99 GBP plus vat and a 20 GBP activation fee to be listed on Google’s 1st page for 30 days for the month of August 2011 when clients key in the 6 x keywords that I supplied them with.
I accepted and asked them to start advertising on the 1st of August 2011 for 30 days only. If I was then happy with the results and the feedback/leads generated from the listing, I could then extend it for a further 3 x months, alternatively they would provide me with 6 x weeks listings at a further 99 GBP.
On or about the 3rd of August I was contacted again by them and offered an “upsell” service in which they would at a nominal additional fee add me to all the other search engines. Whilst I was talking to the chap trying to upsell me, I Google’d the 6 x key words which I gave them and could not find my listing at all on Google (remember I agreed to the offer of a 1st page listing and in return i will pay the agreed fee for the service which was supposed to have started 01 August 2011 and last for 30 days).
He then put me on hold, came back with a long story and told me there was a technical problem and that it was now rectified and it will show the next day. Since he was very convincing I took the “upsell” product and since then have not seen my listing, not even once?
Today I realised that they have debited me again (without permission) and that they now regard the agreement as month to month? They have now debited us;
25/07/2011 = 142-80 GBP
25/07/2011 = 58-80 GBP
05/09/2011 = 118-80 GBP.
When I checked again today, not once could I using the search key words find my listing, not even on page 2 or 3?
When I called them they told me that they explain to me over the phone that it was a month to month agreement (indefinite agreement) and that I should have cancelled it.
I asked for a copy of the voice transcript. They don’t want to give it to me and asked me to phone back later. During this “arm wrestle” for the copy of the agreement (the voice recording) with a very rude Simon, I was informed that they sent me the agreement (terms and conditions) to my e-mail on 2 x occasions and that I should have read the terms and conditions and that it is their protection and defence on the matter.
When I could not find the e-mail, I asked them for the e-mail address used and realised that they had the wrong e-mail. As a result, I could not get the terms and conditions and could therefore not familiarise myself with the content and informed them of this. The same chap, Simon (he told me he is the manager) then got very rude and basically said that even if I did not get the terms and conditions; they still regard the agreement as legal and binding?
I then by chance found on the internet many people who have been scammed by them (8 x pages of complaints, all the same) going back as far as 2005.

So far, nobody seems to have been able to deal with them (i.e. the Police Fraud unit, The Trading Standards, Consumer Direct etc).
Be very carefull. They also claim now to do Facebook listings. - franssmith100 replies to Factsthanks mate, it helps.

I was contacted at the end of July 2011 by World Wide Marketing, explaining that they handle advertisement on behalf of Google. In fact I was lead to believe that they form part of or are owned by Google, that they are a Google company. They claimed that at the time many of my fellow business associates are in the process of making use of them?
I was offered a 1 x month trial at 99 GBP plus vat and a 20 GBP activation fee to be listed on Google’s 1st page for 30 days for the month of August 2011 when clients key in the 6 x keywords/phrases that I supplied them with. He then put me on hold, came back with a long story and told me there was a technical problem and that it was now rectified and it will show the next day. Since he was very convincing, and “associated to Google”, I took the “up sell” product and since then have not seen my business listed, not even once, accept the free advertisement I did myself and the advertisement paid for by my Head Office?
Today I realised that they have debited me again (without permission) and that they now regard the agreement as month to month? They have now debited us;
25/07/2011 = 142-80 GBP
25/07/2011 = 58-80 GBP

When I called them they told me that they explain to me over the phone that it was a month to month agreement (indefinite agreement) and that I should have cancelled it, as explained in their Terms and Conditions (which I have never received).
Unfortunately for this chap, he was on speaker phone in my office and I had people with me listening to him spelling out (twice) the wrong e-mail address.
As a result, I could not get the terms and conditions and could therefore not familiarise myself with the content and informed them of this. The same chap, Simon (he told me he is the manager) then got very rude and basically said that even if I did not get the terms and conditions; they still regard the agreement as legal and binding?
I was also promised:
1) Invoices – never received any,
2) Guarantee of first page listing on Google – that never happened,
3) First page listing when six (06) keyword/phrases are entered into Google search – that never materialised – regular checks were made – not once were the searches successful,
4) Copy of confirmation of 30 day agreement to be forwarded – never received any mail or e-mail,
5) A position report will be forwarded to me to give me an opportunity to review the results and to offer me the opportunity to renew the agreement for a further period – none were ever received.
I have now been asked by e-mail to write to Mr Graham Clarke, to request a copy of the voice transcript (which I assume I never will receive) and to request the cancelation. Why I must request a cancelation of an agreement I was not aware of, an agreement of which the terms are not known to me, is beside me?

- Dean wilkesI recently received a call from this company a lady called Wendy offered me to appear on the front page at the top of Google to promote my business. She took my card details to pay a £20 deposit only and agreed for her to email the details and contract. I received no email or contract. Later in the week when I checked my account I discovered that they took £220 from my account. When I called to query, I couldn't get in touch with Wendy. I could only speak to someone who claimed to be Marvin; once I queried the situation he was abrupt and rude. On top of my busy schedule I am still trying to claim back the money, I can no longer get in touch with any of the numbers they have given me.
- yuriI have paid them 120 pounds for a trial month. They said the ad would have been on in 48 hours. It's 5 days and I don't see anything yet. They said, amongst the other things, that my laptop can't see my ad appearing on google search because it is not connected directly to the wall but in wireless mode?? Is that true?? Can it be that from a fixed pc the results are different? .... Is this a con, then?
