- Grim Reaper replies to P. ArodyYou are just wasting your time putting this on, they dont use this number any more, so apart from people like you and me ex employee nobody else is going to see it.
It's a pity because it was funny.
Put it on there new numbers. - Ex-Worker| 2 repliesI used to work for PS and I would like to say this. They do have a sales process that most people will view as a hard sell. and the staff genuinely do not work with computers on thier desk. the reason they can send and email is because the person asking for an email is trying to fob the sales person off.
"sounds good, send me an email, and call me back on thursday"
Im sorry but your fobbing off the sales person. were trained to know when your trying to [***] us off so we challenge your objection.... you do the same thing when your sellling your own products or service to your potential clients.. you try and guage weather they are genuinely interested or just bieng polite.
i hear someone complaining that we butter you up for 50 mins and then hard sell.
this works....
if we said " hi im calling to sell you advertising" you would hang up immediately. so we do a fact find. this is to get rapport with you and get information about your needs so that we can use it against you when closing later. we lead you into saying that you find it difficult getting your message across to the nessessary people in the public sector so we can present our product as the solution!
basic sales.... you do it yourself when ure trying to sell your stuff to your clients....
and about the making a decision now thing.......
its common sense. if we pitch for an hour of our time and your proper interested and you have bought into the need and see the sense. why think about it... what your saying is you want to think about not doing it. you talk yourself out of it. thats why we push you into saying yes now. coz if its not now its never going to happen. we know that.
yes we try all the tricks in the book to get past the receptionist.... duuuuuhhh. you absalute idiots.. you employ and train receptionists to fend off sales calls. so we call them gatekeepers.. we get around them by baffling them with important political talk and sometimes we go thru to your accounts department to try and bully the untrained admin girls to put us through. us sales people are ALWAYS better than you..... we are more intelligent than you.... we earn more than your managing directors.
Sales makes the world go around. if it wasnt for sales people you wouldnt even be in business yourself. salespeople have sold you the stuff that got your business where it is today. were trained to make you buy...
I invite anyone to work for PSCA for 1 month. even all you managing directors and CEO's. yes you have got your business to where it is today but your not the best you can be until you have sold a pcsa pruduct.
after working for PSCA international I am a lethal salesperson. i can sell anything. i can push people into buying. i can draw information out of you and use it against you so you are in a corner and feel stupid saying no...
BUYERS ARE LIARS.. so they train us to square up to you in battle. we challenge everything you say to get us of the phone. when you are on the phone to us we see it as... YOU HAVE MY MONEY.. YOU HAVE MY 10% COMMISSION. AND IM GOING TO GET IT OR IL PRESSURE THE [***] OUT OF YOU UNTIL YOU CRY TO YOUR MUMMY!
your not proper salespeople or business people until you have been trianed by psca and endured at least 3 months there.

Better off working with the PDSA - ex-workerJust to let you know. I sent a cv applying for a CAD designer job to a civil engineering company (mott macdonald). He saw that I have worked for PCSA international and offered me a position that involves marketing and liaising with clients to promote the company globally. So you directors might not like psca very much when there selling to you but your quick to snap us up when you want salespeople yourself

- Not surprised replies to Ex-WorkerOf course, there is no mention of product quality or trying to sell based on what the customer actually wants in any of that...
If the customer thinks about it and decides against it, it's because they don't really need the product or can't afford it (or they have the time to do some research and find out that the sales patter is misleading, lies or just bulls**t). - SalesmanI appreciate your point of sticking up for salespeople but can you stop talking about our company in the manner that you are. I agree with you on most of what your saying but I lost respect when you started being abusive
- BobYou "earn more than you and all these people on here put together" yet you only have £60k in your pension pot? You don't half talk some [***]. Pretty certain pretending to be police is illegal too...

http://www.companiesintheuk.co.uk/ltd/publicservicecouk - A not amused MD replies to help at handMy company had this sort of nuisance call from a very abusive telesales woman called Rebecca, who called one of my gatekeepers integrity into queston before saying, quite untruthfully, that she had also left messages for me. I took her call eventually to see what it was all about and got all the usual guff. I asked her at the outset what she was selling and she repeatedly denied she was selling anything until I cornered her. I have just called Gordon Warrender's mobile number 07730 438511. He picked up and was civil and apologised. I'd also be interested to see their latest accounts when they do eventually file them as it appears they have been on the slide for a couple of years. We won't be spending any money with them and I doubt that anyone who does will get any business from it.
- help at handWarrender may well have apologised but believe me when I tell you that we will pat her on the back for it. He likes pushy salespeople and likes getting complaints - he says the more complaints he gets the happier he is because it shows his salespeople are being pushy and aggressive.
- Michel| 1 replyI also got a call today. They offered me a strategic possibility for 1 or 2 pages in the next magazine. I needed to commit over the phone, and for their effort they only asked 6K Euro for 1 page and 9K Euro for 2 pages.
They could not and refused to send me info over the mail, so I could think about it. It was very hard to stop them. Finally I wriggled of the hook in the middle of her session. But after one 1 hour I had it.
I offered them a brand new car for free without being able to send a brochure, only for the effort she needed to pay after delivery 10K, not for the car but for all my effort getting the car and cleaning it, etc.. She refused...- Caller: PSCA
- ex sales replies to MichelTo all the people making comments against this number its not used anymore so the only people going on is ex employees like myself so what a waste of time and effort no companies out there will be looking at this important information because they are contacted on the new number 01618317111 and this is only number for the manchester office they will be looking at.

- smiffy| 1 reply‘Anthony Snag’ of ‘Public Services’ rang my company a little while ago and engaged a ‘decision maker’ (an executive) in conversation re a forthcoming conference. The conversation progressed to a sales pitch where the executive was asked if they would like to mount an exhibit at the conference – the cost, £12,000.
Public Services (PS) www.publicservices.co.uk is a publishing company that has a variety of other services (including running exhibitions and conferences). www.publicserviceevents.co.uk.
Thankfully, the executive took some advice before progressing and this gave some time to check out A. Snag. I ran a brief background check on the company and it took very little time to uncover some unsavoury details.
Firstly, I wanted to find out what other people had experienced with the company and entered the telephone number into ‘Google’ hoping to get a hit on ‘Who Calls Me’ – I did.
More information came from Telepest www.telepest.co.uk
0121 456 3336 0131 555 3970 0161 832 7387 0178 266 7340
Telepest also gave some other names used by PS including
PSCA
PSCA International / Public Service
Public Service Review Journal
Public Service
Progressing to Companies House website and later Companies in the UK www.companiesintheuk.co.uk
which gave the address, phone, fax and company number (a match for the company website)
The company has previous names – PSCA International Limited (changed 8 March 2011)
Public Service Communication Agency Limited (changed 25 April 2003)
Ever 1887 Limited (changed 20 December 2002)
Also, PSCA Holdings Limited www.companiesintheuk/ltd/psca-holdings
PSCA Holdings Limited also has a previous name – INHOCO 3458 Limited
Chief Executive – Gordon Warrender.
A business sale report of 4 June 2008 states that PSCA International, the magazine publisher with offices in Newcastle-under-Lyme, Manchester, Birmingham and Edinburgh has undergone a management buy-out supported by the Royal Bank of Scotland. PSCA International has a turnover of £12 million. http://www.business-sale.com/acquisitions/art ... lish-29608.html
Go to Google search and enter PSCA International (with a space following) and one of the options that will appear is ‘scam’. This will take you to http://psca-international.blogspot.com
Where a link will take you to the ASA website where a complaint against PSCA international was upheld www.asa.org.uk/Asa-Action/Adjudications/2005/ ... d/CS_39449.aspx
A simple search for people who have worked at PSCA raised numerous hits – the common link to almost all of them was the word ‘sales’ in connection with their employment at PSCA. Mr Snag however, was not found online.
Conditions for staff working at PSCA have been described as ‘a sweatshop’. An ex-employee claims that top salesmen earn £15,000 a week (Gordon Warrender denies this and says that the top salesman only earns £11,000 a week).
In our case, we did not take up Mr Snag’s kind offer.

IT'S GETTING VERY BORING!!!! - SmiffyProbable scam.
Public Service Events have since called back to enquire re my Executive's interest - they were told that we were not interested in their offer of a conference exhibition place at the cost of £12,000.
Despite this, I anticipate yet another approach - the company appears reluctant to accept 'no' as an answer!- Caller: Public Service Events
