Had a call from this number again today (these and similar calls always seem to be around the same time i.e. 12.30pm.). recorded message stated "urgent message, you are due a £1000 payment in relation to your pension. Press 5 to continue or 9 to unsubscribe"). This is obviously a scam of a similar nature to previous scams where you are invited to press 9 and are then faced with a VERY large phone bill. DO NOT be tempted by the promise of "free" cash, there is no such thing. If it sounds too good to be true then it is, ring off immediately without pressing any buttons at all!

I was called by this number today. It was a recording, saying something like  " If you would like to receive a £1000 payment, please press 5 now..."

Obviously a scam, I've added it to my ever-growning list of blocked callers!!

We received a call from this number at 4.15pm today. A recorded message said it was "important information about your private pension bonus". My husband hung up.

same today, message on answer phone, computerised femsle voice started before end of answer phone message, gist was the same as above about getting £1000 and to press five to continue or nine to unsubscibe.

Had a call from this number today in the form reported by others: female voice, northern accent talking about a £1000 pension refund if below age 60. Any offer like this is clearly a scam.

Receieved call today 12.02 requesting to press 5 to continue to claim £1,000 from pensions helpline as I am under 60. Hung up - so obviously a scam.

Received a call from this number at 13.50 today - recorded voice promising £1000 etc...hung up. Wht can't Ofcom close these idiots down?

Received call from this number Today- No company name given. Recorded message saying it was an urgent announcement and to listen carefully to the following message "you have been granted £1000 bonus to your pension, press 5 to claim or 9 to unsubscribe".  As I am nowhere near pensionable age I assumed this call to be a scam call from some PPI agency or such-like so I hung up.

Have just reported this caller to the Info Commisioners Office- they have a form for recording these calls where you are not given a company name - I'm hoping they will be able to trace the company via the number which was also requested on the form. I too am signed up for the Telephone Preference Service so hopefully they will be able to use this against the company involved.

Received call today - recorded message stating I could claim £1000 pension.  Asked to press key 5.  I just hung up.

Got call at 5-20.Ignored and dialled 1471 to obtain no.Message left but no voice.

recorded message from this number this pm. Tells me I am due a bonus on my private pension. Hung up as I don't have a private pension. I have complained to the Information Commissioners Office (ICO) as they deal with unsolicited recorded calls.

I had a call from this number today 31/10/12 at 10.37 saying that I was entitled to a £1000 bonus from my pension.   It said I needed to register.  The voice was a female recording.
I do not believe the Pension service would approach me in this way, and would know my name anyway.
I informed Derbyshire police on 101.

do not answer or reply to this call I fear there is a scam arrising they told me it was a refund from my pension whichmeans they aretargeting the elderly! this company needs stopping and quickly

It's a recorded call, so you can't use the TPS report line. However, you can dial 1477 immediately after the call to record it as malicious, and report it as a recorded call to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) which has an easy-to-use form on this page — http://www.ico.gov.uk/. The report may do little in the short term, but it's another drip on the stone, and our taxes are paying for the ICO after all.

Calls received twice daily, offering £1000 refund etc, same as other reports
