left a message about claiming £1000 and to press 5 - obviously one of these PPI type companies - just deleted it

Please don't just delete these texts, report them to The Information Commissioner's Office.  If we all do this they will be heavily fined.  You don't need the company name and it only takes a few minutes.

This number just rang and did't leave a message. However after reading all other comments on here, I have entered the number on my phone as "SCAM" :)

Same as everyone else. A recorded message claiming that we are owed £1,000. This has SCAM written all over it!

Called from this number today - pre-recorded message about a £1,000 refund. Invites one to press 5 to connect or 9 to "unsubscribe".  Message does not identify who is ringing and is unclear about why a refund is forthcoming.

As I have many contacts in Manchester I answered the call. Yet another scam..... Now Spam 107 on the handset.

Am TPS registered, and this is a UK business knowingly breaking the law. They seem to have given up on daft numbers or "number witheld" because on a caller display handset you simply ignore these.

This reverting to genuine looking phone nos. is a worrying development as they stand more chance of being answered. When is someone going to finally prosecute these monkeys?

If you owe me £1000 please post a cheque asap. lol

They left a message on answerphone today, asking us to "press 9 to unsubscribe".

had acall saying it was life and death to claim a free 1000 pounds press five ...how do we stop these people

Claims I am eligible for a £1000 bonus payment on my private pension. Presumably will want my bank details or I pay for premium rate calls.

Just had a recorded message call offering me a £1000 pension bonus if I press 5. I had read that if you press 5 you are put on a very expensive premium line and kept on the line for ages.

Just had a call with the recorded message about pensions bonus. Have reported them to the Information Commissioner www.ico.gov.uk and I urge everyone else to do the same. Eventually if they are inundated with complaints, the ICO will shake themselves out of their lethargy and do something.....just don't hold your breath.

Call from this number must have rung long enough this time to tip over onto my answerphone.  No message left - just silence for a bit!  Retained number in caller-id as 'Nomark', so no-one at this address will pick up ever.

Prerecorded message... a woman stating it was an urgent message about a private pension. I wasn't prepared to listen to it for longer than that so I hung up.

I've just had a call from these people so I dialled 1471, got the number and reported them to Trading Standards who put me through to the citizens advice folk who are dealing with this stuff. I also rang TPS as I am registered with them but they can't do anything about computer generated calls.
