Had two this week. One about the refund on a loan and the other was the under 60 yuears of age to do with your pension.  In both cases I'm expected to respond as below or else risk losing out on my £1,000.  Why do these people get away with this?

Call received at 13.57 today. No identification as to who was calling. I put the phone down without pressing 5 or 9 as you do not know what this may entail.

Got an automated message about a pension refund for those 60 and under- odd age for a refund!  If it was genuine it would be a real person (with a very nice job!).  These are so crude you have no fears you are missing out on something!

This company have been ringing daily but we let our answer machine pick it up and they never leave a message!! Did 1471 and got the number. Its annoying coz I work nights so have to turn the phone off!!!

Received this same call today from 0161 961 0056 - Urgent - you have a pension bonus of £1000 - press "5" now or "9" to unsubscribe.  Will report to TPS but no doubt nothing will happen!

Got a call from this number, did not know the number on the display so did not answer, after reading this lot on here happy i didnt.

How do the people who do this live with themselves?  Obviously anyone who then presses 5 or 9 is going to lose money.

Caller said they were calling regarding a £1,000 pension bonus "as you are under 60".
Press 5 to confirm and 9 to unsubscribe.

I did nothing and they hung up.  

I did 1471 and found the telephone number 01619610056.

I am, in fact, over 60 and she definitely said "under".

Please note that these calls are NOT COMING FROM "THE PENSION HELPLINE LTD"

Although " THE PENSION HELPLINE LTD " is incoporated as a company it does not trade.

I have advised the FSA , Information Commissioners Office and Data Protection House, that this scam has nothing to do we me or the above company.

These bastwards and many more like them can rot in hell...I must get almost 1 every day if it was averaged out...You just never know when they will call and for some it must put them right on edge......Steve.

call from this number today -  pre-recorded message started " this is an important message about your private pension payment, please listen carefully" then I hung up.

call to day 1.00pm a recorded massage urgent massage that there is £1000 pounds press 5 or press 9 to unsubscribe i just cut the call off

been working nights call woke me about 1130.just silence then disconnected

2nd time this week from this number pressed 9 to unsubscribe both times tried dialling their number  several times amd each timerang automatically went to engaged tone.

Lets be serious....no ones gonna be leaving pre-recorded messages to every household saying they will give them 1000 quid free of charge......case closed me thinks :)

Received recorded message on answerphone - something about "press 5" tried to ring the number back, rung 2x and then engaged tone - obviously some scam - hope something can be done about it.
