The positive comments posted on this website about this company are all logged on the same date - one day after they got my email asking for the refund of all monies removed from my bank WITHOUT my authorisation, and 5 months after I had written to cancel my contract ie not start it, as their salesman had lied grossly misrepresented their contract on the telephone.
I was told their contract (trial in fact) was for 1 month, after which I could just pay £25 per month or cancel. No cancellation terms were mentioned. I never spend this amount on advertising for a tangible product, let alone this type of service, where the benefits cannot be linked to the source and you get NO FEED BACK from them.
Sadly my book-keeper did not spot the payments as they showed up under a different name - as www.comchrome. Nor did my bank (Lloyds TSB) take any action despite assurances.
I have since had threatening phone calls from them - all number withheld, which I reported to Police- saying they will be sending their not very pleasant cousins to stay at my B&B etc etc ..
I have written to them- recorded delivery - no reponse
I have emailed them - very odd sarcastic response from 'Sam'
I have tried to phone them - engaged every time ( about 20 attempts)
I have written requesting alleged tapes of my acceptance etc etc - no response
They have no professionalism whatsoever, and Paul, who has been making the calls to me, clearly feels threats and extortion are legitimate.
I have spoken to Trading Standards, the Police, Card services Fraud dept.
A GROUP ACTION WOULD BE EXCELLENT.

Think people understand that you're posting these replies from this name and others, anyway keep going, we have won business from your unwillingness to accept EFT payments and purely trying to allow people to pay in the accepted way, why don’t you accept EFT?
In business you cant and never will have 100% happy customers, there will always be a percentage of customers that haven't received the service etc so the forums are full of comments, BUT, we have never threatened, abused, used foul language, bullied or acted aggressively towards customers and posts above clearly show that it’s the process you take and then pretend that I’ve called somebody a “slag” very poor show and very abusive language.
We are setting up in Cape Town and have just signed a lease for the new premises, the company is (PTY) Limited, the bank account is with the largest bank in SA, the accountants are the largest in SA, so from somebody who does not even have a telephone number in SA, think you should take a good hard look at yourself and question why people are trying to set up a steering group against you.
Why don’t you just concentrate on your company instead of allowing your emotions and obvious short temper towards clients, dictate your life. My bank has fortunately come to their senses and is taking action to get this DCC website closed. I have also now had a refund from card services.
The Police have also tried to contact DCC but they aren't where they claim to be.

- disgruntledI had a call from a business owner in Pietermartizburg running a similar operation to mine.
He has been contacted by a company called 'New Approach Marketing' who have hounded him with many calls in relation to his website and the SEO thereon over the past few days.
The reason that he called me and the reason this is posted here on the scam section is that they have used my website as a reference site. Apparently, the reason my site is so high up on the Google rankings is thanks to them.
Now I am most flattered that they believe this to be great and want to take the credit and steal my thunder, but I do not like being used along these lines. They apparently charge R1400 a month - which is also a scam in itself.
They also state that they are a 'google certified company' - There does not appear to be anything like this out there - does anybody know about this?
Related to this could be 'google adspend certified' which is just some criteria that google reflect based on adspend in the country that you are operating - easy to obtain and does not mean much. It seems though that you have to do at least $100,000 a month for at least a three month cycle in the country that you operate from. Do you think that any 'company' in south africa could actually achieve this? I don't know the answers as there do not appear to be any out there. Neither is there a list of 'certified' companies or individuals. Strange that a company like google with all its information cannot provide the basic need to know list. google-adwords-qualified-company-fraud-or-not/.
Well andrew how do you explain the fact that a gold member in the south african forums is planning on taking legal action against you for your lies staffs lies? is this a dotcom chrome post? i dont think so! If customer service is such a big thing for you and your such a bonified company why are you selling a product called instant google? I have checked with google direct and they have confirmed that your services do not exist and also that you are not a google qualified company and are in fact using the badge illegally! you may be a qualified individual but you have a company badge on your website which is a falsehood in itself! and as far as bt partner is concerned if you read the small print it says INDIRECT partner which may be great i dont know but instead of hiding the truth why not be truthful and tell us what it is you sell and what it is you are because you are not an adword qualified company and there is no such thing as instant google! A personal grudge between the 2 seems to have Jamie scrambling and grabbing at what ever he can. Andrew Dryden really seems to want to succeed at business where as Jamie, who knows what he wants to achieve, as he isn't getting too far the ways he's going now is he??? After we cancelled we made sure to fax & send notice of our cancellation to the company by registered post & suprise suprise they still continued to bill our C/C anyway!!! Perhaps its time to grow up, forget our differences and leave the past in the past, move on because posting on here every 5 minutes really is not healthy or good for you. Andy- If you have to post on here to get customers then bloody hell you really are doing something wrong with your sales floor. Perhaps a little motivation is in order. The fact is that we were in business together at new approach and your sneaky underhand greedy ways meant that I was systematically ripped off. Not really an issue for me now however since dotcom chrome has grown at phenomenal rates and you are still working from an old warehouse next to the canal.

Although I’m sure you would like to believe that although I am part of a successful business at least he has no friends or family etc I can assure you that you couldn’t be more wrong, I have plenty of friends thank you. Craig Danny it was good seeing you guys the other night as well. More importantly I’d like to point out that a lot of the people who work for our esteemed organisation I am proud to call my friends. We have a really vibrant positive team here at DotCom Chrome Manchester, you all know who you are I wont mention names on here but its great seeing you around every day and as you all know you are not just employees to me, we get on really well, its great working with you and its even better seeing you after work in the good old tap. To sum up this point I have plenty of people I am proud to call friends but granted I am a bit boring and I probably should see them more often. Duly noted.

If anybody is curious about how to cancel your Google ad words contracts:
You can do so by writing (letter in the post) to any of the offices in your welcome pack.
All of our cancellation letters are picked up by 3rd party agencies. They have no reason not to forward on your mail or advise us to cancel your advertising campaign. In working this way both dotcom chrome and you as our customer are protected and feel safe in the knowledge that nobody has any reason not to deliver mail to the relevant team promptly.
If payments have been taken from your payment method which do not comply with the terms of service please don’t forget that your contract was confirmed on a all recorded line. A copy of which can be made available to you at any time, of course our accounts teams can make mistakes but it is very rare and such instances are dealt with very quickly. Our full terms of service are outlined in the welcome documents we send to your email address also so you are covered against such instances.
3 days notice is required in the first month, I f you do not cancel, the campaign will role over into a 30 day rolling contract. It’s that simple, no long term tie in periods and no evil monsters taking your hard earned cash, just simple mindless propaganda from jealous thugs with nothing better to do
