Report a phone call from 01792893377 and help to identify who and why is calling from this number.
- Martyn Smith replies to Softmelody| 7 repliesThere are two different products that we sell, the first comes with one month free then qyuarterly payments from month two onwards, the second is an upfront fee then monthly payments from month 4 onwards, if you have made a payment this processed after the call because your insurance will need to be activated instantly, if we didnt process the payment until lets say one or two days later, and something happened to your handset, then you wouldnt be covered and then we would be in trouble with the fsa.
As it is a telesale, you do get a 14 day cooling off period, however we do cancel outside of this period as we feel it is unfair to make a customer keep a policy that they dont want to keep, and will be 100% refunded. - Softmelody replies to Martyn Smith| 6 repliesi'm not impressed i wasn't told about the £45 fee until just before i hung up. Had i of known i wouldn't of agreed to it. Also when i rang up not long after i had a agreed to the insurance they wanted a ref. number and what type of insurance i had taken out. I had been given none of this infomation. When should i expect to recieve my documents, i need this cancelled ASAP.
- Martyn Smith replies to Softmelody| 5 repliesYour documents will arrive shortly, we do actually tell you of the payment structure, call me immediately on 01792 222322 and i will discuss the account.

Martyn - sarah tester| 1 replyI had a call from this company offering me cheaper phone insurance than what i already have. I was very polite and told them that i wasnt interested and ended the call. They called my mobile back but i let it go to answer phone, the man left a very weird and disturbing message on my phone with hevy breathing!! Whenever i try to call back to complain they hang u straight away!!
- Martyn Smith replies to sarah testerHi Sarah, i'm not sure that our staff are in the habit of leaving wierd messages, the obvious cause of this unusual message is that the agent has not realised that the call has gone to answer phone and is still waiting for an answer, with the agents mouth being right next to the microphone, it will naturally pick up the breathing of the agent. please accept my apologies for this mishap.
If you want to discuss this matter please call me on 01792 222322.

Martyn - Gemma replies to Robbo| 1 replyWhere did you buy your phone from? Phone4U? I got mine from there and this number 01792893377 has called me twice, asking for personal details, such as my account number.
I have a pretty good idea how they're getting our details.. From Phones4u! I'm going in the shop tomorrow to have a very pissed off conversation with the manager about how the [***] these fraudsters are getting my number! - softmelody replies to Martyn Smith| 4 repliesMartyn i've still not recieved my documents so i can send them back and get my refund, funny that.
- martyn smith replies to softmelody| 3 repliesHi, please call us to discuss your policy, it may be that we have an error on your address, you can also cancel by emailing us at enquiries@reifs.co.uk.

Martyn - martyn smith replies to GemmaHi we dont get any data from any high st store, we simply market research the numbers we need to promote our product, i would strongly suggest you read the statement on page 1 before you leave a slanderous comment, it may get you into trouble!! Im not sure the government would allow a company to operate for 6 years selling fraudulent insurance!! check the fsa register in future. I will ignore the comment this time and will not take any further action.
- GEEKIt really does amaze me how the british public can be so naive, just because an insurance provider like phones 4u tells them a company is fraudulent they believe it,
Surely anyone with half a brain would work out that its just a malicious sales technique to put off the client from taking out a cheaper insurance elsewhere, hence phones4u cannot price match it, so instead they use a clever scare tactic. - softmelody replies to martyn smithemailed you yesterday afternoon, still no reply as of yet.
- softmelody replies to martyn smith| 1 replyhow can you extend it to 28days without knowing my name? STILL no reply to the email i sent.
- martyn smith replies to softmelodyHi emails sometimes go into our junk or spam box which are not always checked for obvious reasons, please can you call us on 01792 222322 as we dont always check this forum for comments! if we are unavailable then you will get the opportunity to leave a message and one of the agents will get back to you.

Martyn - Fran| 12 repliesYes it is some dodgy financial services company posing to be your mobile phone network and offering to discount your insurance, They caught me off guard last week, when they rang, the girl on the other end of the line gave me all her sales patter and talked in a way to make me assume that she had my bank details, all I had to do was confirm my account number and sort code and after that my insurance will get a discount,
I normally get annoyed when I ring companies and they want my account number, post code, name, phone number etc. before they will speak to me, I hold the belief that if they have my number and are calling me, it is my turn to ask these questions and I will not give them any details until they have provided my account info but on this occasion stupidly I got caught off guard and gave them to her. Later on I rang the number back the same girl answered and hung-up when she realized it was me again.
A few days later I received a letter from them and realized I had been tricked into buying a new insurance and it was not the same insurance I signed up to with my phone, when I rang the office number stated on the letter I got an answering machine message, I kept ringing all day all to no avail.
Still boiling with anger the following day I went straight back to the phones 4 u shop to have a rant at them and even the girl in the shop said she had been conned like it before because they’d made out to her that they were part of vodafone even after she told them she was an employee for phones 4 u.
I still don't know how they got my number; even friends and family didn't have it.
I have just typed a complaint letter to trading standards and also to their parent company the address is as follows
Sunderland Court
36 Main Street

- Martyn Smith replies to Fran| 2 repliesHi Fran, it is quite a common mistake to assume that a company calling you about mobile phone insurance is the same company that you originally purchased your policy from, that is why we read you two declarations that we are not associated with your current insurer or your mobile phone provider. These calls are recorded, we can play you the recording at your request.

Reifs. - softmelody replies to Martyn Smithtried emailing you again. I got a reply stating that my policy was now cancelled wondering where my refund is?
- Steve replies to Softmelody| 3 repliesUnless you are completely "BRAIN DEAD" I would take very lightly what "Phones4u" sales staff tells you. I have thoroughly carried out checks on "Real estate financial services” and I am more than convinced that they are genuine, for a start they are listed on the financial services register? How would that be if they were not real?, not to mention the fact that they are also registered with “Companies House” and recognised as a dealer by “Supercover Insurance”………
Phones4u will tell you any old [***] to make money of you, they even told me T-mobile had the best coverage in my area, when in actual fact the best coverage in my area is with Orange, with T mobile being the worst. I have also been informed by a relative who works for phones4u that sales staff get paid a higher commission if they sell a T-mobile contract, its all about money and they will tell you any old [***] to make it, all I am saying is don’t be misguided by phones4u, unless off course you are completely "BRAIN DEAD" in which case go ahead and throw your money away.
Good luck.
Steven Miller - Martyn Smith replies to Steve| 2 repliesHi Steve, thanks for the comment all be it a bit strong, but you are in fact right, in my experience from customer feedback, they actually tell customers that they can not have the phone that they want unless they take the insurance!! (complete lie). They will also tell the customer to leave it 3 weeks or so and cancel the policy, they do this because they are then out of the commission clawback period and they get to keep the commission for the insurance sale!!
With regards to actual contracts, i cannot comment on those sorry Steve, but it does seem to be the trend throughout the country that the sale is commission orientated and not in the customers best interests!
And Miss softmelody, can you please ring us to discuss your account as i cannot identify you as our customer on here, it makes far more sense to discuss your account directly with us rather than post comments on this forum that is filled with negative comments, clearly posted by disgruntled staff from either our company or high street stores.
Regards
Martyn
