- Mark| 1 replycall me to much, have DMP but they continue to call
- Caller: Aqua
- Call type: Debt collector
- Marbles Customer replies to MarkT*ssers!
- mossopThis is not a scam, despite the conclusions some of the people above have drawn.
This is a callcentre working on behalf of 4 companies. One company is Halifax... I owed them £40 for one reason or another, paid it. No more calls... Ignore the suitcases who don't read the comments, this is not a scam number clearly and you ignore them at your peril. Banks that get ignored start putting on fees.- Caller: Halifax
- Call type: Debt collector
- StuartThese people keep ringing me 2/3 times a day.
All they say is Hello Hello Hello then hang up.
Tried ringing them back and all i get is an automated system saying one of our representatives called you today, then that hangs up!!- Call type: Prank
- julia replies to jayneI keep getting calls from these people both on my landline and mobile, i don't take calls while i'm at work and they hang up as soon as I answer the land line. I do not have any accounts with Halifax so if it's them, I have no idea why they keep pestering me
- MarieThey have just started calling me - i'm not with the halifax and never have been?
- Caller: ? 02031034000
- Aaron replies to jayneI don't owe anybody anything and I'm getting these calls,,, don't run yer mouth too soon!
- DollyOk apparently according to other posts it is Halifax trying to call me. However I have NEVER had a Halifax account or credit card! So I find this really odd. My 1 credit card I do have (Barclay card) is all up to date! Any ideas??
Mr 2 lil brothers both have Halifax accounts but I would find it hard to believe that they would call me about them. - micky m2 calls so far today who are they. So far that's 9 calls 5days. Wasting my time and their own.
- AnonTHIS IS NOT A SCAM NUMBER!
It's Halifax/Aqua chasing up late/missed payments.
Yes they use a call centre, but it's not dodgy.
All these people saying they are up to date etc.. maybe it's a case of a wrong digit and the call isn't meant for you.- Caller: Halifax/Aqua
- Call type: Debt collector
- MeCalled me today but I never answer calls from numbers I don't recognise. I have a Halifax credit card but I definitely made my last payment on time and have the receipt to prove it. They are probably going to claim that they didn't "receive" it on time or maybe decided to add random fees to my account which hence took me over my limit. They are scanning b******s and I can't wait to clear my debt and close my account. Shame on you if you work for them!
- M FinemanThis number calls me at least 3 times per day but never leaves a message. No message, no call back.
- MandyKeep getting missed calls from this no, I have Halifax accounts, and car insurance, but no credit card or loans with them. I'm up to date with the credit card I have with Aqua, so am puzzled as to why I keep getting these calls. Tried calling them back but like others, got a few seconds of silence, then a message saying thank you for calling, one of our representatives tried to call you, we will try again later...
Annoying....- Caller: ?
- helen replies to jayneI am constantly getting calls from this number, I have no bank account or credit card with the Halifax>explain<
The way you wrote on here I am presuming you are from the aforementioned bank! I have asked numerous times for the caller to stop calling me and yet I still receive calls I refuse to give out personal information over the phone to a foreign sounding person as I worry about fraudsters so I can therefore not find out why they are phoning. I repeat I have no accounts at all with Halifax. I have now blocked the number. - tracyi keep receiving calls from this number no idea who they are
- Caller: 02031034000
- kellymccarthyHad 4 calls from this number today on my mobile which thankfully automatically blocks numbers it does not recognise. After reading the comments below stating it's from HSBC or Halifax I bank with neither of these nor do I have any credit cards with them so I'm stumped as to why they are calling. Thank God for blocking mode on mobile phone.
- MarkI don't have an account or credit card with the Halifax so should not be getting these calls, Jayne your talking crap as nobody should be asking for details as they should have them on their system. They are just a massive nuisance
- Caller: Halifax
- Anon replies to jayneThats not a very pleasant reply that you left is it, sometimes people lose there jobs or suffer ill health ? maybe if the same happened to you one day you would consider yourself to be a special case and exempt ?
- confusedporkupineWhat is this then. Does anyone actually know
I keep getting calls from them and the whole Halifax thing doesn't make sense
I never got these calls originally when I got the number about 2 years ago however they've only just started these past couple of months and its really annoying.
Also to make things even more complicated I've never banked with Halifax so I really can't see why it would be them.
If it was a genuine bank thing they would leave a message, they would also use the official bank number which you can find on the website and most likely also send you a letter detailing the issue
I have heard that some people have had calls from this number in relation to missed payments and so on but I do not have any outstanding payments. And again if it was official you would get a letter about it
This number has well and truly earned its place on my block list - Graeme replies to phillipa weltonWell arnt you just a know it all [***]! I haven't even got a credit card or a loan!! [***]
