Hi Dear. There is an internet cafe in Kilburn High Road, in Camebridge Avenue, which is ADIA INTERNET COFFEE, so there ARE some Indean & Pakistanis are working & it is them, who are sending this number & they think it is funny. They stay in the UK on students visa, but they run businesses.

just misses a call from this number,rang it back to a voice message "saying number not recognises" i've just cancelled my Virgin Media account also.hope this isnt a persistant thing.

I have been called Thursday, Friday and again today. I have just called Virgin Media and they have confirmed it is customer retentions trying to contact me. I have asked them to take me off their call list.

Virgin Media are very ANOYING!

Like a few of the other people have suggested i have just cancelled virgin also and have had a couple of calls from this number, i answered and a woman said hello and i said hello and she hung up. very strange customer service!!

I have never even used Virgin Media but have been receiving calls on my mobile at least once a day for 2 weeks now from this number. I answered it once and a mans voice asked for someone I had never even heard of. i told them they had the wrong number, they have still kept calling. I now don't answer but it's bloody irritating. I also, about 3 weeks ago, had an automated message from 'Virgin Media' asking me to press 1 to keep my appointment tomorrow or 2 to cancel it, I had never made an appointment with them. Does anyone know of any way to stop these people calling me. It's getting a bit weird now!

i am getting calls off this number twice a day every time i answer they hang up. just cancelled my virgin internet a week ago. weirdos..

I have just cancelled Virgin Media Broadband and they have been ringing offering discount to stay. It's their "Dont leave us cos we can do better" team.

just received a call from this number saying they were Virgin Media and it was a customer courtesy call as I had told them I was disconnect about three days ago.

Person said his name was Zac. Asked me for my password...fat chance :-)

When I said I would call back he said it was an outgoing number only. I asked how I knew it was Virgin then and he hung up.

I called Virgin straight away. They are contacting their fraud dept. Said they didn't have any London numbers and discontinuation service would never ask for personal details.

Next time will be the Police I call.

Maybe a leak of info in Virgin....

Yes had call from this number....We cancelled with Virgin Media 2 days ago so looks like it must be them trying to win us back - No luck with that

Just called Virgin Media and they have taken me off the mailing list and they say I should not receive any more calls from this number..............................

I did the same thing after getting loads of calls from virgin - different no (2 a day most days).  They promised to take me off the list but now I'm getting calls from this number instead.  I shall be complaining to the watchdog about these high pressure sales tactics.

Got a call from this number but did not get a chance to answer.  Checked it out. Not recognized number.

Just cancelled Virgin media TV yesterday.

Seems a lot of people are getting this call.

I am so sick of this number, and I like other pick up, can hear the noise in background and then it disconnects.  I have also cancelled my virgin media 2 weeks ago, thankfully i will be getting a new number from SKY.  I rang virgin today, they denied having anything to do with number.  I have logged complaint on OFCOM website.  

I will get peace now I will have a new number and I intend never to give it to any of these f"£&( ers

I cancelled my Virgin contract and i now get calls from this number, thankfully i am at work when they call but come home to numerous missed calls when i get in.  Virgin customer service is absolutely diabolical, i got into difficulty when i lost my job and they hounded me and hounded me for payment, i have been a customer 7 years and never missed, i was even told at one point to go and borrow the money off someone to pay my bill off, which i refused to do, i was then told that i should make sure money was in my bank to pay my bills, very rude people, i have now cancelled it and told them to send me a bill, which will be getting paid at a tenner a month if they are lucky, i now have sky fitted and my phone is getting fitted today, i cant wait.

OK, finally I picked up and someone was on the other end.  This is definetly Virgin Media and they are ringing because I am leaving.  It appears the job has been outsourced to these people to ring customer who are leaving.  After weeks of these calls I gave him what for, and he asked why I was leaving virgin, well your annoying phone calls certainly reassured me that I have made the right decision.  

Hopefully OFCOM will put a stop to this an I urge you to log your complaints.

Got a call @ 12.48 on 05-04-2011 when answered no-one there... number recorded on caller-display, when I called it back got message "You have dialled an incorrect number, please check & try again". Did this twice - hope it's not a £1,000 per minute call. If it is there have to be legal consequences, don't there?

two days in a row from 02070594000 ring it back wrong number we have cancelled virgin and would never recommend them to anyone else and they should be fined for silent phone calls does anyone else agree with this

its virgin media. trying to offer things so you stay with them ,  we r leaving virgin, and this number keeps calling . its not a silent caller. they do take about 20 seconds to say something!
