I keep getting calls from  this number to 02070594000 . BUt its doent say who it was

I regularly get called from this number late in the afternoon but only get the 'Robot Woman' voice if I call back. A web search suggests Virgin Media is to blame.

I have been receiving calls from 08004089340 and 02070594000 at all times of the day apparently it may be Virgin Media not tryed numbers to find out, they have only been happening since we had a router delivered and they wanted a mobile number to let us know when it was being delivered. I have been in touch with my mobile phone provider who suggested get in touch with offcom, police and Virgin media which I am going to do.

This is not a virgin Media phone number... 100% fraud,,, do not confirm any details with them

Had a call from this number saying it was Ash from Virgin media and that he could save me money on my telephone calls. Within the first minute he had asked for my password! No chance whatsoever! When I called the number back it was not recognised.

How clever you are... Do you know what fraud means!??
I just cancelled my Virgin Media contract earlier today and they called me back from this number to confirm!
Nothing to worry about.

this is not virgin media its an utter scam. virgin do not make unsolicited calls. they use to use an 0880 number with exactly the same questions. iv'e had 3 calls this week 2 silent and one with an actual person i just told them to sod off.

The same for me having just cancelled my virgin accout, radom calls day and night......just reject them!

Think it may be Virgin, stupid if it is. I have just cancelled my virgin account, the phone calls started soon after, much like others. Random calls day and night, no one there, just reject! If anyone asks for details of any account over the phone don't give out anything!!!!!

caller said my phone package was too expensive, wanted to know password and how I paid my account

Have been getting calls from this number every day for over a week when checking 1471. Just phoned tonight & I answered. They claim to be Virgin Media offering to save me money "as a valued customer" but here's the jist of it. They want me to confirm the first & last characters of my password which they gave me. I hung up they tried again & this time asked for different characters again giving letters to confirm. The young guy had an Idian accent but I cannot be certain it was the same person calling both times. This is obviously a scam as the letters were incorrect & they are trying to guess them. Just hang up & don't give any comment.

I have had calls from 08004089340 and 02070594000 repeatedly together. Spoke with Virgin who appeared to confirm that the 0207 number was theirs.  I suggested they change the message to something more helpful.

The caller said she was from Virgin Media.
She knew my name and that Virgin provided my internet.
Offered a discount and a bonus to my deal.
Then the call was cut off.

Not sure if they are actually connected to Virgin officially. When woman asked for my password, I said it, and then she said could I repeat it. So I started spelling it and she said "hold on, B...I..." as if she was writing it down, not like she was checking it against something she had in front of her! So I stopped reading it out. She was trying to get me to sign onto a tv contract, or a phone contract.

Had a call from this number on my phone it was virgin media trying to get me to take other services with them....

Had a call this evening that I missed,we do have virgin and we havent cancelled BUT the call came through on my mobile that isnt with virgin and is in my name where as the virgin account is in my husbands and I have never given them my number so dont see that virgin would phone  on this? First call I've had so will try and catch it next time and see what they say
