02070594000 call me last night on my mobile,i missed the call and did a check on this number and read the reports on this site, i was still curious so phone the number using my land line and got a message saying  quote the number you have dialled is incorrect please check the number and try again.

called saying virgin media survey asked can I give my password, I asked what for my account she said yes do I know my password as I give when calling virgin, Of course I do but I'm not giving it to you she she says oh ok can ask another question sure you can ask I said how do you pay your bill..Excuse me but any one calling and asking for my password it obviously a scam so why would I tell you anything whe was rambling that they're not I hung up.

Said they had all my details off Virginmedia

Just got a call claiming to be Virgin Media. Asked for me by name and mentioned something to do with a discount. Told them not here and will have to call back. A quick check online and found this link on facebook: www.facebook.com/virginmedia/posts/692800280733333. Copy and paste link in to browser.

Someone enquiring with Virgin Media on this phone number was told that they would check the number out. If you go to that page and scroll to the bottom and you will see a replay to another enquiry for the same number with VM saying: "It's not us Jamie, best to block it as you have done"

Another call from Virgin Media... how many numbers do these guys use!  They keep calling on different numbers and I find it disturbing.  Have now blocked all the numbers and refuse to talk to them.  I'm not even the account holder so why are they phoning me.  Ignore guys.... they'll soon get the message.

Automated massage, I hung up before I could hear any more details.

Had these call a few times when my partner had a convo the guy said he was from virgin media and said he had discounts for us and asked how we paid when we said pay point the caller then said our systems are down can I call back in an hour , strange . Were they after bank details or something . ??

Just called virgin media and they confirmed it's not them an flagged it as fraud on my account.

Constantly being harassed at work from this number.

It is Virgin line in the same way that BT customers have BT lines.   It does not mean that Virgin Media is making the calls.

Try calling it back !!! Tells you have dialled a ring number !

I got told I had dialled an incorrect number ! Virgin media seem to think this is a scam, got offered a deal from this number, refused it, called virgin media to take the deal with them and it was never on the table !!!

This and 2 other numbers, 08004089340 & 08004089430 ringing my mobile several times per day. On this site, it appears that all these calls seem to come from people claiming to be Virginmedia but may or may not be.

I would not answer any questions asked, told him to call back following day once i clarified it was actually a call from virgin media, which it was.

keep being called on mobile from this number don't recognise it so would not answer and no message ever left on answerphone so kinda figured this was  a scam or cold call...reading the comments here very glad I did not answer

I've had numerous calls to my mobile from this number, claiming to be Virgin Media. Just now they said it was about 'optimising my broadband'. Told them I wasn't interested. Had blocked the number earlier but that doesn't seem to work
