Pyramid scheme thats all

The reason a lot of people are angry and referring to it as a scam is because they hold back on very important information, had they made it clear at the start more than half of the applicants would not have applied.. Information such as:

1. you will be regarded as self employed
2. it is 100% commission based - in the ad on reed.co.uk it stated that salary was negotiable!!

They fail to mention this at the interview process as well.

This company seems to be operating under several different names, I applied to unik corporation and live and the emails and job descriptions i received were identical..

A lot of people may be happy going door to door working on a commission basis but before attending the interview if there is anything you are unsure or unhappy with then email them and beofre you attend he interview, it will save both your time and money..

Went for interview and about 10 mins into their [***] interview in bare rooms with idiot uni dropouts and crazy confidence building chants I took the manager aside and told him his business was a joke... turned out he was so deluded would have had more luck converting the pope to athiest!!!

Its a fraud guys. Today I got call for interview from B1 clients services. Even they have same looking website and address as 1 bath street, London EC1V9LB!!!!!

thanks  to your comments I am able to identify the real "face"of UNIK Corporation. I have bee contacted via email the first time by some Mr. Frankie Stevens. I replied to Him, asking to delete my details from their database and to stop contacting me. However, they contacted me again with the same email saying that my application was successful and they would like to meet me for an interview.

Do you know a way to block this Company?
Do you know how to report it to the authorities?

I believe that it is outrageous and companies like them should pay before the Justice.

I have watched you closely for about 2 days and it's ruthless the way in which you are literally harvesting young, naive people's energy!!!!!!!!!! These guys that usually before they get sacked without any pay stay over about 2 months, as this is the moment when you promise them another promotion. And you know that being 19 without any proper education whatsoever, they have nowhere else to go. Selling credit card terminals for a 4 years time contract and getting 25 pounds from it is a [***] joke!!! Are you kidding me!!! If you have brains you know this contract is worth thousands!!!!!!! Besides you are trying to sell a product which is already in use by 95% of the targeted business by doing what??? Up sallying????? You are not only deceiving your "managers" but the customers to.

Comparing this scam of the century to an MBA for free made me laugh inside louder than ever!!!
And I almost forgot... Stage 3 involving The same walking from door to door [***] is suppose to last 4-5 months so you can squeeze as much "JOICE" as possible. It's curious how you are expecting someone to do a full training in legal, finance, HR, admin etc in 6 weeks, if they will ever get promoted of course!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Fair enough if you want to sell this to a 19 year old Italian kid who can't even speak English!!! But you have the guts to say that to someone who did specialized professional degrees, such as Finance, Business, Admin, Law or Marketing for that matter.

I was the stupid one that worked for 4ward promotions for 2 weeks, i left there nearly 3weeks ago and im still waiting to get paid. I was working with a right stuck up cow who thought she was better then everybody and the company has a whole was a shambles. They train people up to management and then start them off with there own company with a different name but still under them has a business. Working longs hours and getting paid pennys. 4ward Promotions needs to give their heads a wobble!!!

I made the same mistake and started work I passed all the interviews then the day I started had to walk the streets you had to knock on 150 peoples houses three times round, they never mentioned it was a sales rep cold calling, to say it was self employed you had to go to the office at 10 for an hour and had to knock on doors till 8.00 on a night then you had to go back to the office for an hour.. then they put the music on so you could not hear them giving the speech on how to talk to people, whilst I was there one man went to move his car and never came back.  I lasted a day it cost me 20.00 in petrol and did not earn anything.. that was one lucky escape you made not going.

I lasted one day and did not wait around for another day, there should be something that should be done they want reporting.   there protected because they make you self employed its so wrong.  I ended up with them all in my car as they was catching buses and they never even had credit on there phones its such a scam.  There really are stuck up the reps if any knock on my door I am defo going to tell them where to go.  I had a feeling no one gets paid.

my god your sad what you really mean is you went for the second interview so you new what you were doing and what the pay was like so you started and then you realised you were crap and you left get a grip lol

I would have gone as well because the address is different but not now i've searched this! If they were just honest and said from the start it's door to door and there's no basic pay some people might actually be interested but to mislead you and expect a 17 year old girl (which I was at the time) to walk around the roughest estate in Salford on their own at night knocking on doors is just ridiculous!

omg i just got a call from these guys... after researching into them, i found out all these sites.

i have been caught in this crap before, walking the streets on a second interview! terrible, they just try to brainwash you man, a joke makes me sick!!!

My wife, who is a civil architect that is having difficulty to find a job like everyone else these days. She almost fell for this nonsense. Blogs like this prevented her from attending the "second interview", which is more like a work for free interview. Think about it, they always manage to find free workers for at least one single day.

My daughter should have gone for an interview today.  She is a lovely person who works very hard having just completed a degree and been working extra hours in a supermarket. She is NOT lazy and doesn't mind hard work but like the previous poster is finding it difficult to get a full time job. I am so angry that these people are being allowed to get away with scams like this. I am on a mission now to try and do something about this because enoughs enough!

My sister posted her CV on CV-Library today and was called back by Arcedia within 10mins!

She asked me for some interview tips on the phone a little later and after hearing the name, I immediately became suspicious. This was compounded when I asked her what she would be doing and what the role would involve. She found to her amusement that she could not actually tell me since the man on the other end of the phone didnt excatly say....well.....anything of....anything. Just for her to come in and it would be explained....

Turns out it is another one of these 'marketting' companies.

Keep an eye out, they are based in Bath/Bristol.



PERSONAL ACCOUNT-

I was contacted by one of these companies in Wales a couple of years ago. I asked around the job and the company and the details were hazy to say the least. I immediately cottoned on to the type of company he represented.

I pressed the agent around the company and the role and when he still failed to deliver any details, I asked him what particular details on my CV led him to contact me.

He didn't have a clue!. To be honest, I wouldn't hire him to work for me with that sort of preparation.


TIP: If any company agent cannot or will not go into any detail regarding a job or role, be extremely wary. You should be selling yourself, not the other way round. The natural order of an interview is for you to want the job and for them to decide if you are worthy, not to coax you in with fingers crossed.

A company that is required to do that will have a severe staff attrition rate and you need to ask yourself why that is.

God forbid someone with a DEGREE should be scammed. Or have to slum it with up mere mortals doing menial work. The horror.
