Hi I just had a missed call from that number and I called them back, they are just a market research company. visit their website www.gfknop.co.uk or .com
They don't seem dodgy, just researching products - nothing to worry about.

rang me at 8.30am on a sunday morning. I have truecall which i recommend to anyone as you don't have to answer if you don't want to, if you say no then an automated message tells them politely to [***].

For saying thatectory and registered with the TPS I'm sick to death of getting tossers phone me. last week it was some Indian guy ringing loads about debts abd tinight it was about market research

This number called us four time today....! its SUNDAY and im gob smacked that they are allowed to bother people on a sunday at all let alone 4 times,
we ignored the call when our caller display showed the same number.

This number called me today, Sunday.I didn't bother to answer.

Had a call from this number while half way through my evening meal.  Thought it may be an important family call as I have an old age parent who is quite ill at the moment.  This female started her spiel and I stopped her whittering on as I was damned annoyed.  She was then very rude.  I am registered with the Mail Preference Service, so this company should not even be calling me.  In my opinion ALL calling of this nature should be made illegal.  They should get 'proper' jobs like the rest of us, and stop harassing normal folk.  Yes they are not normal !!!  I will be contacting the MFP for an explanation.

My head is in the bin as you can see.  For got sake stop calling normal folk who probably, like me, have upsetting family issues to deal with.

I love this site it has answered the 'who's calling me question' of so many of the bogus numbers that seem to get through to me.

I had this london number call me (in the middle of my fanily dinner- grrr) it went to answer phone. First port of call whocallsme.com and lo and behold another flaming marketing company! will not be answering this number in future unless I'm in a particularly bad mood.

Wish they would get the message and leave people alone!!!!

Just got called last night(18:30) regarding a market research. When I asked where she´s got my number from, the answer was, an autoshop in Denmark i´ve just visited??

Called Sunday morning! Identified as GFK and doing a market research survey. ON A SUNDAY!! I said I was registered with TPS and would report them if they called again, but they didn't seem worried.

Got a call from these people tonight They insisted that they were doing research on behalf of my bank (which they could name) and wanted to survey me about a complaint! Where do they get their info?!  I am reporting this not only to you but if I get any more calls from them I will include a report to the police.

They have no right or do not have my permission or my banks permission to do any such business / survey as they called it.  

Who do they think they are?

It was odd because the number showed on the called display as '0044' 207 890 9052. They rang off before I could answer, just as well!!!!!

They have been calling my Company for days now and ask for my Directors by name.  I keep fobbing them off because I have a busy Reception to take care of and have no time to deal '20 questions' researchers.

I noted that in the first page of comments, someone had posted an email reply from these people and I noted that their business address is in the same town as us, so should they call again I should be inclined to walk across town and pay them a visit!!

I had a missed call from this number yesterday, after reading previous posts I think VISTAPRINT could be to blame for selling our details!!!!!!!

This is a genuine market research agency. No sales whatsoever. It simply gathers opinions. Nothing to worry about. There is no need to be rude to the staff. If you don't want to take part, explain this, and that will be that.

If anyone is rude to you call the free phone Market Research Society number and make a complaint.

I'm registered on VISTAPRINT too, would it be the common denominator ??

Called on january 22nd & asked for me by name. When I said i was out (!!) & who was calling they rattled off their name & had to be asked twice more to speak in such a way that they could be understood!! When questioned they said who they were & were calling "on behalf of a company that (I)use" but would not state whom!! Obviously I put the phone down. Worse than being called by British gas from India!!

They called at lunchtime on Saturday and asked for my husband, though they mispronounced his name. He is not the listed name with our number. I asked who was calling, and he said it was a survey. I told him my husband isn't interested in surveys and only accepts personal calls. The man said the call involved a company that my husband has dealings with, but when I asked him to name that company he said he couldn't tell me, he could only tell my husband "because of the data protection act". I said he might as well cross our number off his list then. Next time I won't let the conversation develop that far

Called Sunday 24th 11AM on a my BT business line - Since I wasn't expecting any work related calls on Sunday I didn't answer it - just as well by the look of it!
