You have no right to phone people for absolutely no f* reason ....

Had a couple of calls from this number on Saturday and Sunday so searched here and found all of this info.

I looked on their website and found an email address (telephone@ipsos-mori.com) to contacted them, initially I just asked in my email if they could confirm that 02088618682 was their number and they said it was, I then replied politely and asked If I could have my number removed.

I was informed this was possible and just made aware of the following.....

"I must inform you though, that in order to ensure you receive no future calls I would need to add your number to our "Do Not Call" list. Your number will only be held in order to exclude it from future studies. We absolutely guarantee that our "Do not call" database will not be disclosed to any third party, nor will it be used for any other purpose, and contains only telephone numbers, and no other details whatsoever."

After that I provided them with my number and eventually received the below reply...

"I can now confirm that your number has been removed and added to our "Do Not Call" list."

The whole process which included 5 emails from me and 4 from them took a couple of hours.

They told me they were based out of Utah but the guy had such a strong accent.
Some dude named John Marco said to call 801-373-7735. They used to be called Western Watts. These people call me every day!!!
They took at least 30-40 seconds to even pick up the phone after they called me and then they want me to spend my time so they can sell my opinion. I get paid for my time just as they get paid for theirs. They are instrusive and violating my right to privacy.
I plan to complain to the FCC. I hope others will do the same.

not sure who this is calling at random times evenings and weekends

Has anyone been called by Steven Tyler on behalf of the Midwife Assoc? - he has been really rude to me trying to get to my boss!

How can we stop this caller without having to pay for a call blocker? It is always round about 6oclock to six thirty every night. when you say hullo no one answers. It is very annoying. Please do something about it.

I get phonecalls from this around 3 times a day.

1 about midday, 1 around 4/5 o clock and another about 8.

Next time it rings and they ask if they can call me back, i'll happily say only if you let me call you back on a Sunday at 8pm.

Was called on my mobile, that number is only given to friends and family. Because of ambient noise could not hear any detail of what caller said, but MORI was mentioned. Declined to take part in any survey. Hope I am not going to be pestered. The process described earlier for removing the number from their list seems very laborious; it should be quick and simple.

I am sick to death of answer the phone with this number. they just put it done. Please get it stopped. thankyou

They've just started calling me last night, told them to never call again. Whether the TPS covers surveys or not, if I have taken time to sign up then that means that I wish to be left alone. There should not be that loophole and housholders should not have to jump through hoops in order to be left alone.

I detest phones, and only have one for emergencies. I'm ex-directory, TPS, MPS, always tick the 'Go away and leave me alone' box, and always give away the bare minimum that I can get away with in contact details. I find unsolicited contact, be it by phone, email, text, letter, extremely irritating and rude. So I shouldn't then have to ponce around finding out how to be left alone by IpsosMori.

I would unplug the phone after 6pm, but I have elderly and ill relatives - like I say, I put up with having a phone for emergencies. When the damn thing rings 'out of hours', I panic. To answer, fearing the worst, only to find someone intruding, is aaarrrgggghhh. To say the least. And I'm sorry, but if someone I don't know from Adam calls me asking all sorts of personal questions, then I am entitled to get suspicious and paranoid.
And do the public services who commision these surveys REALLY listen to us? I doubt it.

Many years ago, I worked in a telesales office, and then one person asked why they would want to advertise on something they'd never heard of. I told them that I quite agreed, hung up, walked out and got another job, ashamed to have been part of an harrassment company.

This number called my 12 year old daughter's mobile asking if she could spare some time to do some audience research for ipsos Mori. Told them in no uncertain terms where to go!!

I received a call today at 6:55pm called back to find out who they are.
