02202

I started getting these calls yesterday, 2 yesterday and 1 today. I missed all of them, and I'm not sure whether I should answer anyway. o2's Info Hotline number is 2202, and this number 02202?

I have had calls from this number for the last 3 days.  I called o2 Customer Services and was told that this is not an o2 number.  o2 are aware of the problem and it has been logged.  o2 need to take legal action to stop this apparently, very annying.

I have been gettin these calls for the past 2 days and when i called back it wasn't recognised. So if any1 getts a call from it don't answer IT IS AN INFECTION block it now the longer u wait the more time they have!

i've had several calls from this number in the past two days, first time i answered a woman said hello but then did not reply any other times no one has replied and i could just hear them moving in the backround. :S ?

Me too, two today..could hear background noise then they hang up..cant wait for someone to speak..to me..will have something really pleasant to say back...NOT!!!

I used to work for o2 call centre in manchester until I quit a couple of months back. But 02202 is the number we called people from. It could be any of the different outbound campaigns and they are able to either take your number off the dialar system if asked so you won't get anymore calls or they can send a text message to your phone from the computer, verifying their origin. I have been reciving these calls from 02202 and have not awnserd them. I do not know what the Number is from nor who it is I have been told that it is some sort of marketing thing that targets o2 numbers. this is annoying as it disrupts my day. please can i have some advice on this matter

I was contacted by 02202 some time ago but they always rang while I was working.  This time I managed to pick up the phone.  I hear a man's voice in the background and then within about 10 seconds I was cut off.  They (whoever they are) tried to call me at 6.30 pm again tonight.

I don't care who they are (although numbr sounds dodgy) I do not answer to numbers that are not in my Phonebook list. Not going to let these parasites force me into changing my network (if it is related to O2 that is).

Interesting to hear the indignation from the spammers in the cold calling office.  It is not paranoid, it is ***** annoying!  The first two digits are of course a giveaway.
Having a long standing policy of never buying from cold callers, I am now changing my network.

You need to look up the word cold calling. Idiot!

This is O2 selling their new home telephone network.  Hence why calling O2 customers.

I answered the call last week, and it was silent for ages but I thought as they are paying for the call I don't mind keeping the line open.  Eventually a male answered and confirmed all their details.  Pretended I was interested to confirm who I was speaking to.

I got call from this number. They sell O2 mobile broadband on promotions to Business customers. Is there any one who is having personal account but still got call from 02202?
If so please do let me know. I will try to talk to that person

I have received a call from the same number 02202, they tried to get my personal details..
I got 2 PAY AS YOU GO sim cards from O2. Both of them are registered on o2.co.uk website with different accounts and linked together.
When I received a call earlier today, the male guy said that he is from o2 and wants to offer me a new tariff...
The caller said, that phone call is being recorded.. and after that when they tried to get my address and d.o.b. I started arguing why do they need all that info and suddenly my phone batterry ran out..

I thought it could be just a scam.. but now still doubting..

I just spoke to O2 customer services and the lady said the company calling is not directly associated with O2 and that they are just a marketing company. the only information they have is your mobile number so don't give out any information like name, address etc and if you answer the call ask them to remove your number from their system.

I was called today, in school. The guy said hi so i said hi back. he asked me how am i, so i said ok. I had to hang up because of a teacher, but i heard him say: "Hi Michael! I'm phoning from 02. I would like to ask you uf you would want to change........(static)......or join in our great...(i hang up)...

Sorry guys thats it....I will update, as he is phoning me today again.

This number has been ringing me everyday for over a week now and it is really bugging me. I haven't answered it - looking at all these comments it's probably best I dont. Please help.

i got a call from 02202 today and i never anwsered but they phoned again and i answered it a man said "i see you cora im looking at you right now im so wet and i need you cora come to me come and make love we can be together forever have babys,get married and die together but this well happen soon married today and baby born in 9 months so come on down and meet me in my room love you sweety" i shouted down the phone leave me alone you freak and hung up.
I keep getting calls from that number every 10 minutes people if you read this dont anwser it and go to the police please just do it.

'Info Hotline 02202' have called me several times within the past week, each time i haven't answered, but whenever i try to ring back an automated message answers 'the number you have called is not recognized' or something like that.

got called by this number, a woman spoke and said she was 02 and asked if i was in uk and if i was getting most out of my phone. i answered and she hung up. Then afterwarda, numerous people told me that they had gotten calls from me even though i hadn't called them cos i had no credit.
