This is a company claiming to win back personal protection insurance misold to individuals when taking out a loan or credit card.  They have a 'no win, no fee' policy and claim 25% plus vat of any amount they can win back.  Has anyone else had a call from them and if so, are they a legitimate company?

I have two hung calls from this number in the past few days - they literally hang up as I pick up. (This is quite normal for cold calling) I don't know who they are but I doubt that they are legitimate.

Yes i have received these calls also.  They constantly call.  I have spoken to them they say now that they have a cheque for me, but I only gave you brief information in our initial conversation.  I am not sure if I am going to go with this company.  Due to a death in my family I told them that I wasn't interested at the moment, but they still continued to call.  I feel that they just don't care about people, just want our business at whatever cost.

wish these pratts would stop calling at thesame time every evening..plus no-one is there if you answer!!!!

They call me daily, but no-one ever speaks!! Wish they would stop..... no joke when I work shifts and get woken up by them ..... ARRRGGGHHHHH

This company is calling every 6 minutes from lunchtime onwards.

Just managed to phone them back and told them to remove the companys phone number from thier list, we get 2 - 4 phone calls in the afternoon where they hang up straight away. the guy apoligised but weather it works we shall see!

I got a call this evening and they asked me a few questions about past loans or credit cards with PPI attached....not 100% sure what to make of it but they're calling back on Friday to speak with my husband.  Everything you were told I was told too, so we'll see soon enough.

I got a call from these guys, i missed the first one and my wife answered. they asked about ppi (payment protection insurance) and she told them i deal with it (nice of her eh!) but they called back and i spoke with them. I know if a company like this is to win u back any money, they first have to be registered with the claims regulation - a government recognized claims company so i asked for their claims regulation number first. and i have to say they gave it over right away and offered me as much information as i like before making a decision about whether to go with them. i checked the website and financial ombudsman site and it appears legit so im going with them to win back some money. (i only gave my loan info, they didnt ask for anything sensitive). 8-12 weeks, i shud have money (fingers crossed :)

look people are getting annoying calls from these people. i get 3 calls per day and always at same time !!   have asked politely for them to stop ringing but they just ignore it!!!  surely there must be a way of getting them blocked

I have been getting calls from this people and when I pick/answer the call they hung up. Can they stop calling if they know they will not answer but hang up when their call is answered. Very very annoying, especially if you have to rush to pick your phone when it rang.

I too had calls where they would hang up as soon as I answered. When I called them back and eventually got through this company claim that they obtained my details from a "lifestyle" questionnaire that I completed stating that I had PPI. ABSOLUTE LIES as I have never completed any such questionnaire or ever had PPI.
I have asked them never to call again and if they do I will be reporting them.

I had a missed call this lunchtime from this number. Today is a bleeding Bank Holiday! Do these people never give up??? Glad I wasn't here to take the call as I'd hate to think what I'd have said to them

Had many calls from this number, but took to picking up the phone and then pressing the hash key, lots and quickly. A person then spoke to ne, so I asked for their name, who they worked for, where they were calling from and what they wanted. I went around this loop so they didn't get to much chance to pitch. After this process with two different callers they seem to be ignoring me.

Seems that they have a different angle for each call. First one was a survey, which I am sure was fake, so didn't play. Second was Endowment mis-selling.

I  know  exactly what  you  mean  re being  woken  up  by them, Not  like  they  only  ring  once a day...persistant...they  call  several  times a day....drives me crazy...fortunately  my  phone displays  no  so  I  no  longer  answer that  no   doesn't  stop  me then  having  to  try  to  get  back  to  sleep  though!!! GRRRRR

After 26 missed calls from them since my last post, I've just spoken to a nice young man with a soft Irish accent. He gave me his name and company name and said that from their records, our household have had either credit cards and/or loans out. I advised him we have neither. He then said we must have had them in the past. Knowing roughly where this was going, I advised him we have never had anything on credit or any loans and if we didn't have the cash, we never bought anything! He apologised for disturbing me, thanked me for my time and told me they wouldn't call again. Hmmm, I'll believe that when I see/ hear it, lol. Mind you, u wish all cold-callers were as pleasant as he was!
