Keeps calling my landline also, wakes the baby then they hang up on answer!

Don't live in the 1970s and buy a phone that has 'caller display'

Then you dont have to answer numbers that you don't know ..

Simple answer to your problems.

PS...Buy a new phone with an 'answer machine' built in...

If the call is 'important' they will leave a message.

If it is not important...They won't.

got a call asking for our mortgage endowment policy no.said if we gave it him he d be able to tell in seconds if we had a claim,he was quite insistent that we found it,I SAID MY HUSBAND DEALT WITH IT ALL, HE SAID he d call back.

Please stop calling me i get a call everyday and when i pick up the phone no one answers it annoying and people wounder why we swear on the phone! I got my ppi because times are hard and do not understand why people dont have it its a good thing to have. Leave me alone!

I have caller display and an answering machine - but it's still annoying to see "10 missed calls" so I have to scroll through the list in case it was someone I know

Hi Ive also had a call from this tel no. he asked about any loans id had told him i'd had 1 loan he mentioned the ppi i might have  paid etc  asked if he could wait on phone while i looked for the info  told him I was too busy so he said he'd call back next day. which he did but I had my doubts about carrying on with the claim he said his name was Neville Cox  I asked what do they get out of this and he said no win no fee and that if they did win anything for me I would get all the money but they then would invoice me 30% of anything I won ???

I have had hundreds of calls in the last 5 days and got so fed up with them hanging up on me I called them. I told them to remove me, we shall see.

had someone calling soft irish accent but asked for me by my fiance's surname im not married yet!! told him that "I" wasnt home and could i have a name and number to pass on to "me" said he would call back i have no credit cards and no loans and we have recently taken out a mortgage but my name as in my maiden name is on that so where the hell did they get the idea i was married and where did they get my home number its unlisted???????

This is a scam company - do not use their services for re-claiming mis-sold PPI you can do this yourself FOR FREE - just takes you a bit of time effort and energy, but you get ALL your cash, not 75%.  

They also call regarding the "blue screen of death" and other interesting viruses which they can detect on your pc if you type in a "special" web address to prove it whilst on the phone - dont be fooled it's another con - and your pc is fine.  If you do fall for it they sell you some very expensive software to rid yourself of the viruses - this type of software is also readily available FOR FREE download on the internet.

I have just got a call from this number. I picked up, said hello and then they just hung up!

I Had emcas phone me too about missold ppi ,told them no and got drawn in to chattin morgages even tho i dont have one , they then had me agree to a call from his collegue in another dept who asked me for my old endowment policy number to chase up "YEAH RIGHT!" as if im gonna fall for that one .
They are like vultures preying on dying animals, money for nothing spings to mind

Received a call from this number earlier; an initially pleasant young man referring to mis-selling of loan insurance. As per previous posts they stated they worked on a no win - no fee basis but took 25% of any award made. The caller then requested I passed details over the phone of any previous loans in order to complete the 'legal documents' they would then send out.
Being the suspicious sort I asked they send written details and I'd consider the offer before committing. The tone of the caller changed from this point on refusing anything other than what was in his script.
Call terminated  
Any cold-call company that wants any personal details passing over the phone MUST be avoided.

Got through to a call centre, so I asked to speak to a superior..... When I explained that 4 silent calls in 2 days was verging on harassment...... Then to call the number back after the 4th time to discover it's PPI  claims, was not on. If they do this to elderly/infirm or even those with just a sensitive disposition, it could be very distressing. Now to find where I report these scumbags!
