I just got a call from 07049 204461 "Hello ... Hello? HELLO?? ... Oh damn it" and put the phone down.

Gits. How can I get these numbers banned?

I just got the woman with "Hello, hello, oh God" on 07049204648, googled it and got this page otherwise my curiosity may have got the better of me, that's just what they want the swines! Is there nothing that can be done about this?  Can we not block these numbers beginning with 070492?

just had a call from 07049206505, ladies voice saying hello, hello and then it sounded as if she said bloody hell and then put the phone down.  she didn't call back and i didn't call the number.  i am x-directory so really annoyed to be getting these calls.

I realised that this was a scam when I started getting these calls, but it annoys me that the elderly might not be aware of these scammers. TELL EVERYONE YOU KNOW ABOUT THESE CALLS YOUNG AND OLD.

i've had these calls a couple of times form 07049 numbers but never answer calls if i dont know the number on the caller ID, also if they withhold there number or it comes through as Out of Area they also never get answered, at the end of the day if its really important they will leave a message and if not they can right to me, i would do away with the landline phone if it was upto me

07049 205325 rang my home today, saying Hello, hello, can you hear me? Then the line went dead. I always do 1471 and check the number on the internet. Glad I did. Hope this helps.

Just received a call from 07049205255 and when I answered the phone was put down. Are they trying to tempt me to ring back? No chance.

Had a call from 07049 210898 - Distressed man's voice saying Hello Hello .. can you hear me? . . .
Call back - pleasant female voice asking you to hold on for a while, then asking you to leave your details . . . assume con to make money from premium rate . . .

Call from 07049205492 same as previous calls asking if I could hear him. The impression given as if someone in difficulty. They may cry wolf one time too many!!

Add 07049 210 377 to the list.  Rang off just as I picked up but have been getting several of these in past weeks where the caller just keeps saying 'hello, hello', faintly and long-distance sounding.  I never ring back.

I recieved a call today 21 November 07049 205470. No one at the other end it was an answering machine that said "There is no one in the office, please leave a message" We hung up staight away.

Today a Message from a man on a poor line who couldn't hear me 1471 gave this number 07049205555
Have reported it to http://www.phonepayplus.org.uk

However it was briefly horrible as I thought what it it was in connection with any of my family members had something happened to them. I decided that if it was vital they have rang back but they didn't and then I found this website.

A horrible, cheap little scam that preys on peoples worries and fears all for a measly few pence.

Called at 4.40pm by an 07049 number. I have an ex directory number and don't give it out to anyone so I guess this is a speculative call do random dialling. Have to say that even being on TPS register doesn't seem to make the slightest difference when you get cowboy outfits trying their luck.
