As the other calls man just saying hello. His number was 07049 210149.

Just had a call on an ex-Directory land-line from 07049210676, a very feint 'Hello' and call then lost. Did 1471 and without requesting dial-back system rang and stated similar to 'This number does not take messages'. So I've probably been had.

07049 210 350: Just called by this number, same as above; glad I didn't call it back!

07049 205811 havent seen this number on the other notes but seems though this is one and the same. Wont call it back, thanks for help guys, these pages are invaluable :)

Got a call from 07049 205660 same as above, just a crackle..
Recognised the 070 as a payplus number so did not call it back..

I've been told that these 0704920 numbers are allocated to 2 Communications and not TelXL Ltd.

I guess the best advice is just don't call back and under no circumstances use the call-back option!!!

There should be rules against numbers like these that charge 50p for you to call them; they should not appear to be mobile numbers that's for sure.

Got a call this morning from 07049210967, silence from the other end when I answered.  Do no know this number, sounds like a scammer to me!!!

Yep exactly the same as everyone else, number was 07049205121

You can also add 07049205608.  Same message, but did not return the call.  Glad I checked it out first.

I received a call from 07049205028 today 14/6/2011, caller said helo helo then line went dead, I dialed 1471 and got the number and googled it, and found this site, pesky scammers

same as above.  Call into my ex-d home number.  "hello, hello...long distance sounding... then bleep..then cut off".

I did not call back.  Googled and discovered this scam.

Just had a call from 07409 210496, he sounded distant and saying hello, hello, then hung up!
As i use a 0700 number for my business i knew it was a personal number which connects you to which every number you direct it to. This instance i suspect it to be to a premium rate.

I got a call , same as these others here I have found , man says hello , hello , hello then the line goes dead . I did 1471 , it gave the number as  07049 2 10085 , I phoned back and got answering machine , wanted me to spend more time .

Just got a call from 07049 205-something. Sorry, someone else phoned before I could do the 1471 again to write it down. Same experience as everyone else - a well spoken man sounding like he was talking on a bad mobile connection on a windy moor or something. He said "helloo-o, hello" and then the line went dead. Obviously, if you've had this call, don't phone back.
