i got this today too whats this all about?

I just got this call too.
Call from 07049207274. Man said "Hello, hello, can you hear me?" then hung up.
So I googled and it led me here. These people are so awful, is there no-one they can be reported too?

Just had to calm down an elderly relative who was called by 07049207692 saying "hello, hello, can you hear me".  It made her feel so anxious she called back fearing it was from a family member holidaying abroad and getting no response made her feel even worse.  Fortunately I found this site and was able to reassure her and hopefully she can now smile and put it down to experience and a charge on her phone bill. These people are despicable.

Just happened to me today @ 4:50pm, Number was 07049 207 860.
"Hello hello can you hear me?" static, then it goes dead.
Ii live in Tameside, i dont know if they go by area codes but bear it in mind if your phone number starts with 0161 368

Just had a call from 07049 207893, another number to add to the list, don't phone back.

Had a call from 07049 207506 saying " Hello, Hello, can you hear me?" and then rang off.

This is a very useful website and will avoid people being ripped off by scammers

I've long-stopped answering the phone to any number I don't recognise. Despite being registered with the TPS, I'm still getting a dozen or so unwanted with-held/international calls per week.

Had a call from 07049207692 at 12:06. Male caller sounded urgent and said "Hello...hello..can you hear me?" Then disconnected.

07049207825 called me - indistinct line but someone saying 'hello' 'hello' - I made the error of phoning back and just got a recorded message telling me some opening times - I can't believe I fell for this scam.

recieved a call from this morning, a male saying hello hello can you hear me, phone goes dead! ah ha!! I never called back you sucker!!

Yes it has just happened to me.  He called out, hello hello can you hear me?  Then the line went dead. I didn't call back, I checked on here and I found this.  The number that called me was 07049207683.
There are some very nasty people out there ...

07049207727 called saying hello, hello can you here me....another scam trying to get you to call back on a premium cost phone number....

Just had a call from this lot....I wasn't able to answer then saw I didn't recognise the number. When will these people give up?
