I had reported a fault the day before, the message said it was cleared.
If you get silence on the line: you probably just have to say "Hello" loudly for it to kick in!- Caller: Virgin Media

- ClaireI received a call from this number about 2 months ago and phoned Virgin to be told that under no circumstances to answer this number as it had nothing to do with Virgin. Just received another call from this number and phoned Virgin again to be told it is infact there department of cancellations and they phone you to ask why you are leaving etc. The man did tell me that you can phone Virgin and request that they don't phone you only contact you via email and/or post. As I was typing this they phoned again! lol. My advice is just ignore it :)

- The Devil's SpawnThis is the call you back number that they use when you report a fault with them.
Pain in the [***] but hey it's Virgin and like many Larger Telecoms companies run by management that likely learned how to run call centres from an ITIL book - Fools. Do what I do and if you get to speak to a droid give em the Anne Little Britain Voice Uh Uh Uh. Makes them smile, Makes you Smile and they are paying for the call.- Caller: Virgin Fault Line
- Mr Private NumberI just had a call from this number but didn't answer as I thought it was probably a sales call. After reading the comments here about it being Virgin Media, it makes sense now as I reported my broadband not working last night. I'm not too happy that they are now inconvieancing me again!

- ferglitIt's from Virgin. I had a fault on broadband which I reported to Virgin, who booked me an engineer. When the fault was repaired BEFORE the engineer came out, I was called by this number to say that the booking had been cancelled.

- FiFimaggie replies to Stephen PaulEven tho they are a media company 0800 numbers are expensive
Tell them that if they continued to call you that you have an
extended family who will call them repeatedly, all day, every
day. I think that will sort it. They call me too. I never answer
0800 or 0845 or 0870 numbers any more. - JaneDefinitely Virgin Media - an automated survey around 30 minutes after I had rung them with a problem. I ignored the first call and then, after checking on here, answered the second time. I said 'hello' quite loudly which triggered an automated voice to start the survey - you can choose to go ahead or not. I would imagine it is random whether you get a survey or not after a call to Virgin.

- NTL (now Virgin) CustomerTwo calls received 15 July 2013 [fifteen minutes apart] the second one was picked-up and was a robot stating that our recently reported 'loss of service' had been resolved and 'if an engineer had been booked, then the appointment had been cancelled'.
Today 23 July, a further two calls received [sixteen minutes apart] the second one was pick-up and was the same robot stating that our recently reported ('second') loss of service had been resolved and 'if an engineer had been booked, then the appointment had been cancelled'.
Interesting background ~ each/both loss of service incidents involved two consecutive nights loss of service 23:45'ish ~ 09:15'ish the following morning. On both occasions when the '150' operator was called at 08.00'ish on the second morning, the operator indicated known and planned routine maintanence was in progress and followed-up with "service would be restored shortly" (which it was!). If planned maintanence involving 'loss of service' is scheduled, why ohh why don't they forewarn their customers? - paul jonesWho are you
