This is an automated Virgin number. I had a fault with my TV and Broadband and ordered an engineer. Subsequently it was discovered that this was an area fault so this morning I recieved an automated call on this number to inform me that the engineer was cancelled and I would receive an update once the fault was fixed. Efficient sevice from Virgin for a change!

We were getting regular calls from another 0800 number that was claiming to be virginmedia & it was bogus, even though they had all our details, its now been passed onto an outside fraud team to investigate. virgin have changed our number & made sure we were no longer on any lists but now we are getting several calls a day from this number again asking for my hubby & claiming to be from virgin, we have not had a fault several months ago when we were having problems with the other 0800 number. This number will be passed on to the fraud team as well since this thread was started in 2007 & customers/ex customers are still having problems with it 6 yrs later. Virgin are a joke & obviously don't care about their customers

Had to call the Virgin helpline earlier as my internet suddenly went down. Talked to an Asian lady. The problem got fixed after she told me to unhook some wires and then hook up again. Anyway, I have now had two calls from this number: 08000135333 and each time I answer there's nobody there. So is this Virgin? These calls drive me nuts!!!

This is Virgin Media. I asked for a PAC code on Sunday evening and got the code, yet on Monday morning I got a surprise call from them wondering if I'd like to remain. They offered me a few things but I wasn't interested - still, you've got to admit, their fast to try and keep you as a customer.

They ask you why you want to leave, what could make you stay etc etc - though the move was a business decision for me so couldn't be avoided one way or the other

I called virgin about 20 minutes ago and I just got called by this number for the first time now.

I rang virgin at 9 o'clock, cancelling international calls, within 10 minutes this number rang me. I have caller display so didn't answer, thinking they would leave a message if it was urgent. They rang again 15 minutes later. Is this the start? I am fed up of bogus calls, I don't answer so why waste their time.

number is from 3 mobile, the last three digit gives it away 333

Its definitely Virgin Media not 3. Rang this morning to enquire about my contract and 20 minutes later got a call from this number but didn't get to the phone in time so I rang it back and got an automated message saying I had been called by virgin and not to worry they would ring me back. Hopefully offering me a new fone :-)

Sick of getting nuisance calls from this number on my mobile 2 or 3 times every day. My wife also gets them enough is enough get them stopped NOW

Rang Vurgin media last night to say my stsem was not working and now this number has called 3 times in an hour, leaving 2 x messages telling me that the fault has been fixed. Thanks for the feedback but you can stop calling me to tell how quick you were at fixing the issue!

Just had  another call from 08000135333 and like the other ones, when I answered it there was no one there.  I called the number back and there was a recorded message "You were called by Virgin Media today.....we will call you another time."  I would not mind but when the 'phone rings there is never anyone there so what is the purpose of the call in the first place.

I called Virgin Mobile and Virgin Mobile about 2 different issues yesterday (Saturday).  I had 2 missed calls this morning (Sunday!) 10 minutes apart.  I don't expect businesses to call on a Sunday and won't answer them unless I am expecting them.  So it certainly looks either Virgin Media or Mobile calling.  My issues were resolved by the way.

Hi, Just thought I would tell you I called this number back and its not Virgin it is Green Flag Insurance

Well i have just called this number and it isn't Virgin, its Green Flag Insurance, undoubtedly a cold sales call but it definitely isn't Virgin

Well I have just called this number back and it turns out to be Green Flag Insurance unless these people share the same number but somehow I can't see that
