I got called by this number about 3 times in one week a month ago, each time wanting to ask a few questions about my virgin media account, and I kept hanging up. Then, I got a 4th call at about 7am, and I shouted at the bloke to [***] off and die, and I didn't get any more hassle.

But now they've started calling again a month later, I've just received the second call this week. Is it possible to block an 0800 number?

Called by this number agin yesterday. They asked for Mrs Watts. This happened in the past and we told them they had a wrong number. They are still ringing and still asking for the same mysterious person. We are a business number and do not have any virgin media services.

Got a call from this number about an hour ago to my Virgin mobile, answered and got total silence. Googled it to see what the heck was going on. Was actually my first call from the number, now looks like I can look forward to a series of these? Super...

This number has called me at least twice a day for the past three weeks - i answered the first two calls and invited them to call me back after work but they always call in work hours.  I've not answered since then but I'm just wondering whether they'll ever stop calling!! I would have though they'd have got the message by now!  They're also calling my house phone.

I don't think it's a cooincidence that I cancelled my Virgin account just before getting these calls - i think virgin has given this company my numbers - really annoyed!

I called Virgin Media about this annoying number and was told that no one from their company had called. They also said they have received a few complaints about this and are looking into it. They said they suspected a rival company is trying to call us and get information/details of account from us. So not sure what to make of it. If a rival company has gotten hold of their customers' records, then surely there is a hole in their security system!!

god only knows why these people keep calling me. very annoying.

Rang my mobile - didn't answer 'cos I never answer 08000 numbers having been bugged by another 08000 number recently. Have only broadband with Virgin... Don't know how they got my mobile number, nor why they rang the mobile instead of our BT landline.

What this number all about ! I must recieve 3 calls a day. (pain in the rear) How do i stop it ?

keep ringing me5 times a day but ive been ignoring it. my daughter answered it today and they asked for my husbands name she told them he wasnt here and hung up. i have a contract mobile with o2 in my name so how did they know my husbands name???

08000135333 just rang me twice. I'm using a Virgin Media sim card. I didn't pick up. If there is a chance its bogus then the best thing is not to give any real details.. or better yet just ignore it. If Virgin really wana get in touch with you, they would do it properly.

Received a call from this number on my Virgin mobile. Glad this site exists to enable me to know who is sending the nuisance calls. They are counter productive because I refuse to do business with any company that generates such calls.

I've been called 16 times by this number in the last 3 days on my work mobile number!! We were Virgin customers until Sky came up with a much better deal and free sky+ box, we called to cancel on Monday and they've been ringing my mobile ever since!! Partner gave them my phone number as they want to come round to collect the box and need to check I'm in!!! Not answering it but sending snotty emails wont make a difference! Thing is, even if I did speak to someone, account was never in my name therefore they wont even talk to me. So annoyed!!!

They called twice today. First time, nothing. 5 minutes later my Mum answered, I took over as she's as deaf as a post. They said they're from Virgin Media. I was expecting a call from my sister so they caught me at the wrong time and I told them to call later - DOH!  Now I know I'll grill them and possible bait them into more info.

I get called every day from this number to my mobile, becomes annoying.  Even when i answer there's never anybody there, surely something can be done to stop this
