    Got as few calls from this number today.

    I recently cancelled my VirginMedia services and this was their pathetic attempt to try and win me back as a customer.

    It's a retention department who call to find out why you're leaving - which I'm sure I told the guy who did the disconnection?!!?!?

    Been called several times in the last two days by this number. We're on Virgin but haven't changed our account at all. They just leave blank answer phone messages. Has called us about 5 times today, 3 times in the last hour. Next time they ring I'm going to threaten to talk to the police if they don't stop.

    I had 14 missed calls when I checked my mobile when I had finished work, I tried to call it back but it just said 'sorry we missed ur call, we will call back within the next few days'. It was Virgin Media but they did no leave a message so i dont even know why they called. Not sure how they are supposed to contact me when they only call in work hours anyway.

    Got 2 calls from this number on my mobile(o2)today. I missed the first call and they called again within a minute. I never answer calls on my mobile unless they are from people in my contacts list. I blocked the number from calling me without answering their call. I would like to know how they got my o2 mobile number as I NEVER give it out either verbally or on forms. If I receive even one call from them on my landline they will lose me as a customer.

    When i answered the phone a voice on the other end
    exclaimed "Bus pass of superior complaining"
    of course i was betwizzled by such a remark
    and abruptly rung up my retro 80's mobile house brick.

    Then when i turned on the TV i saw non other then spinders
    gran on TV saying if you dont repost this in 7 days
    you'll get cancer and end up in hospital dead.

    Help guyz i don't know what to do?!

    Why would they use a free phone number? lol
    They would use a reverse charge number to drill you of every last penny they could get their hands on.

    I sent a note to ofcom thanks to the link provided by Belfast a few pages back. We'll see. I'm registered with the TPS (have been for about 8 years) but these stupid [***] are phoning my Orange mobile 2, 3, 4, 5 times a day. Then it'll stop for a week or so, then start again 2 or 3 times a day for two or three days in a row.

    Been going on for about three months, coincidentally (or maybe not) since the month after I threw my TV away and cancelled the Virgin Media analogue TV contract.

    I've binned the call every time bar twice when it just disconnected straight away (usually a sign of an autodialler harvesting numbers). If it's someone phishing they're [***] stupid. If it's Virgin Media they have more chance of me eating Saturn than taking digital TV.

    And I thought I'd have the most hassle from the TV licensing [***]...!

    Keep getting calls and no one answer - I have complained to Virgin/NTL and put in a complaint on Ofcom web sitte - I recommend anyone reading this does the same.

    They called me today and asked for a girl that i lived in a house with last year. Cant understand how they would have got her name and my number, let alone the combination together. be very careful!

    Called in the region of 8-12 times a day since sending VM our notice of leaving. I think the plan is to brainwash/spam you into submission.

    Had this number ring once numerous times this week.

    Today it rang longer and the women on the phone told me she was from virgin media, proceeded to tell me she knew I was registered with TPS but asked if I would mind if Virgin called me with offers.  

    Told her no and hung up....will see if the calls continue.

    Im another disatisfied custimer who will probably leave virgin very soon.

    They rang us at 18.50 today(Saturday evening-i ask you!!!!)
    Woman said she was from Virgin Media. Asked us the same about being registered with TPS and would we prefer it if they did't contact us.

    DUH that's why we registered with TPS!!!!!!!

    Keep calling my mobile and no-one ever answers when I pick up. Am a Virgin customer for broadband but they dont have this number. Seriously annoying!
