Phoned me and left a message telling me to phone an 0345 number. Thanks to this site I now know its a scam I dnt even claim benefits.

It's from DWP.  Go ahead and ignore it and have your claim suspended...fool

Its from DWP you fool. Outbound only line.  My wife works for them. Its the number she calls me on daily.

Its outbound only DWP number. My wife works there and calls me on it every day.   Some of the nonsense replies on here would make you laugh.

It is indeed DWP so not a scam.     And people wonder why they get their claim suspended....  ignoring phone calls and letters doesn't help.

got a call at 8.05 am from this no. and caller said they wanted bank details for my PIP payments. I declined and thety said they would send a letter. Rang PIP and they said there was no record of them calling at that time it might be some other department.

Got a call from this number earlier. Answered and she said she was from dwp to check im getting the ryt amount income support asked my name dob full address and my childrens names and dob. Really hope its nt any scammers

So thats whos been calling me for the last 6 years on my mobile, its bob's  Mrs. You know him he posts stupid stuff on here...Hmm wonder if his Mrs calls him Tam or T&m. Either ways  bob tell your Mrs to stop calling me, i am not that desperate.

Ah , Thunderbird 4 , your spelling ,syntax ,punctuation and all round use  of badly constructed grammar, leads me to believe that you are either dyslexic ( no shame in that) or totally thick. Each of your posts, under various names always contain the same individual spelling errors.  In poker they call it a player's TELL. Anyone who has seen you troll on different posts can spot you immediately, leaving you with no credence when you  genuinely have a point to make. Come out of the shadows and join the grown-up and stop sniping at others who are trying to help.

They've called me several times, I've had a long standing claim with ESA  and when they want something they call me by a different number and leave a message, or send out a letter, this ones called me several times before I checked this, they've left no message or anything and the one time I answered the phone was promptly hung up. Not sure what they're playing at really!

Was called today by some welsh guy from DWP who wanted all my personal information before he would tell me what he wanted. I told him I would not give him my personal details until he could explain to me what the outcome of the call would be, he couldn't tell me he just said that he had just been told to get me to confirm that I hadn't been paid by my employers since July 2015 (which is utter rubbish I just got paid) we had a stand off so I told him to write to me from the proper address for DWP and I would furnish them with the relevant information. He seemed surprised that I wouldn't just hand over my personal information, so will await a letter in the post. He hung up. Be aware!!
