- Anita replies to denise wilsonI have received two calls from this number that I haven't answered. I have not made a claim or any enquiries with the DWP so can't understand why they would be ringing me.
- JonThey rang me today. I picked up and heard continuous beeping for awhile. I rang the number back and got the automated voice message about how they would call me back later if they needed to contact me.
After googling this number I am very confused to what this number is. Is it a scam or is it the department of work and pension? I do claim jobseekers but I am not editing my claim or anything. The only number im expected to really get is the job centre to call me about jobs I can apply for. I will ask the job centre on Monday about this but its starting to worry me. - jimhave rang me 7or8 times since 11am this morning i answer then they hang up
- mikeHi, Has this number call me. Never answered it and returned call to get DWP voice message. They rang back stated they were DWP doing a benefIt review. She spoke poor english. I asked her when was i last in touch with the DWP. She told me and the information i give was correct. Did a review over the phone to see if anything had changed in my circumstances. Had no letter to say they would ring. Totally out of the blue. Could have been reported for something as i upset a lot of people in life. However if it was something dodgy i would of had a letter headed letter from the compliance officer requesting a interview.

- divathecatJust had a call from this number claiming to be DWP saying it would be a 15 minute interview about my benefits as they no longer send out forms???????? Said I was not happy about the call and they would send out a form instead??? Woman who called has English as a second language so that's why alarm bells rang straight away.
- sdJust missed a call from this number. Interesting to read here that it is allegedly from the DWP as I don't claim any benefits nor receive any benefits, and there's no reason they should be ringing me.
- Caller: DWP?

- AnneIt is the DWP. I had missed one call and answered the second after reading posts on here stating it was the DWP. Spoke to a very nice woman who told me where things were up to. Can't complain about how she dealt with the conversation at all.

- NaomiHad a call from these at 20 past 5, didn't answer as I was busy. I made a claim around 2 weeks ago, attended the appointment made for me and have been twice to 'sign' since. Don't know what they are calling for. It doesn't seem right that they are calling me when I have already sorted my claim and have been in earlier today.

- Madeleine Humphrey| 1 replyI am concerned as benefits do not usually ring to do reviews over the phone and I am concerned that this may not be a genuine call I received today 2nd May 2014 at 16.16pm, they knew everything about me and kept asking for details of my claim ie which day I claimed, what benefits I receive etc. Please confirm that this is a genuine call.
