well just had another call from this number..

English lady from BT asking for Mr.Fox who had requested a call back from them

It is definately BT.

This number rang us about an hour ago, claiming to be BT and that we owed them money (which we don't as we're fully paid up and do it by direct debit anyway). The guy wanted to arrange a payment over the phone but I wasn't having any of it. The caller didn't sound professional. Perhaps it was genuine ? But BEWARE!

This number has been calling me all day since 8am I'm just so scared of those 0800 numbers that i don't pick up. Yep cose i don't know if they are the one paying 4 it or me and I don't like all those useless commercial calls. I kno for a fact that it is not BT otherwise the number would be on their website and whatever happens folks if u need to contact BT for unpaid bill use their real customer number 150. It happens to me once, the woman from BT contacted me and told me that I had to call them back to make a payment cose she couldn't do so for security reasons!

This is a BT Customer Service number.
I had a call today. I missed it but they left a message on 1571. The female correctly identified herself and the Company (BT) saying she was calling in answer to a query that I had emailed earlier this week. She said, having failed to speak to me on the land line, she would call my mobile. She did but it was off. She left a message there again apologising for not being able to speak to me direct but she would email me the information I had requested. The email came through within ten minutes.
I have no problems. I appreciate the steps she took to contact me. My only observation is that she could have emailed me and saved the time making two calls!

we got a call from this number - it was bt broadband just checking everything was ok as we had cancelled direct debit to change bank account - nothing scary!

Its BT chasing money....don't bother calling back

if you are a BT customer, then BT hold the right to call you regarding anything to do with orders or an account you may have.

It is BT.  I was called by this number numerous times today.  When I eventually answered it, it was BT saying they appeared not to have payment for my BT account.  All I had to do was press 3 to confirm I had paid it (as I had sent it in the post yesterday.  There is nothing sinister, it is just asking you to pay your bill!

This is the number BT calls you from after you have reported a fault on your line and they have tested it. They call from this number to arrange for an engineer to visit you. There's nothing to worry about.

this number keeps pestering me with sales calls trying to sell me BT broadband and asking who my provider is, which i didnt tell them! calls as early as 8.50am and at night too 9pm its disgusting, I too am a member of Telephone Preference Service but if these calls are BT it wont stop them will it!? So annoying. I rang BT to complain and they say it isnt them, huh??

This number called me today (15 March 2010). I didn't pick up but they left a message it was from "Daniel" at BT Broadband Techical Services replying to an email that I had sent them (with a query). He apologised for not being able to speak to me about my question but would send me the information in an email. He did.

Sorry but you are wrong. I recently updated my direct debit amount with BT.COM. The next day I got a call from this number from BT confirming my update. They new who I was the amount I was paying, and the amount I had changed it to. Now try telling me it isn't a BT number.

It is BT. I had a call  from the number recently answering a question I had posted on BT.Com.

I can also confirm that it is definitely BT as they were responding to an email I sent them.

For future reference it is an automatic sort of "thank you for your order" number. It rung after i rung BT and went ex directory.

I have been getting calls from this number for the last week, i dont answer my mobile if i dont know the number and they never leave a message!!

I am going to report to my mobile provider and see what they can do about it.

I have had very early calls to my phone from this number. I am not even with BT and do not have a landline. most annoying.

Might be a generic number for a foreign call centre depending upon the time of day.
