I have received many calls from 08000 285 085. I would love know the subscriber of this number

omg......stop going on, its BT, that's it BT!!!!!!!!!!! they called me many times, always answer & its all fine, people are just crazy....get some ***k*ng anxiety pills if you feel like that.

2 calls from this number this evening, one at 8pm, the first about 6pm. If I see a number on the Caller ID that I don't recognise, I don't answer it. No message was left.

This is a call centre, for BT. I questioned a recent bill and they said someone would phone back, which they did on this number. All was rectified.

Just got a call from this number and it was from BT asking me to rate thier customer service, I had rung BT earlier in the day re an address change.

1150. Got a telephone call now from this number - I didn't answer it, especially as it's an 0800 number. Needless to say they did not bother
to eave a message! Pests.

Genuine call from BT customer services in response to an e-mail to them earlier the same day.

This number called my husband earlier today and told him that his direct debit details had been cancelled (they wouldn't give a reason) and asked him to provide the details again. My husband didn't give his details to them. They also said that our account was in arrears (which is isn't). The operator put him on hold whilst they transferred him to the customer service department, but my husband hung up and phoned BT on a different number. They said that they had no record of anyone contacting us today. Just seems strange to me.

It's BT. Automated service to confirm an engineers visit as arranged a few hours earlier. Persistent caller until answered

I was called by this number today at 04.26 hours !!!! They must start early in these call centres nowadays !!!

It is definitely BT just in case there are still some waverers (e.g. "kev" above). This has always been the caller ID presented on calls from a very helpful Lady in BT's Edinburgh office (I have her direct dial 0131 number) whom I have been dealing with.

I have just had a call from this number. I must add that I have reported a fault to BT recently and noticed about 30 mins before the call that the fault was fixed.  Don't forget most of BT's call centres are in india now so they are a bit shoddy.

The number called my mobile and hung up after a few rings so I didnt get a chance to even answer it.

Received a call from this number today,I asked the lady to confirm who she was.she proceeded to give me all my BT account number details,then offered me free evening calls.I called BT to confirm this ,and they said it WAS BT.

Here's a thought - maybe it IS a genuine BT number that's been hijacked by scammers.  Apparently it's easy enough to fake a caller ID with the right equipment, so maybe some scammers are calling using the BT customer services' caller ID?  Just a thought.

(And yeah, I got one of these today, didn't get to it in time before it stopped ringing, and when I rang back I got the "This was BT, we'll ring you back" type message.)

I've had a call from this number today. When I called BT the confirmed that it was about a query on my account. I have recently requested 'Do Not Call' from BT so now can give them a list of numbers that I want barring.

It is BT replying to an e-mail.

I am now ringing BT to complain!!!
