This has happened to us £99.95 and £1.60 admin!!!  I have just reported it but the usual ... up to 10 days!! How can this company ... one man band .. whatever get away with this!!!!  I am furious and will join you guys in trying to stop this scam.  I have reported it as well to Watchdog these people need to be exposed ... big time!!

IT IS A SCAM!!!  THIS HAS BEEN GOING ON FOR YEARS NOW .... BANKS ARE SICK OF YOU GUYS AS WELL .... HOW COME YOU JUST TAKE THE MONEY!!! I NEVER SAID I WANTED ANY VOUCHERS AND YET 2 YEARS AFTER I PURCHASED AN ITEM OF TV CHANNEL ... YOU TAKE £99.95 PLUS £1.60 ADMIN ... EXPLAIN THAT.

I TOO HAVE REPORTED TO BANK, WATCHDOG, TRADING STANDARDS AND THE POLICE .... WE HAVE TO STOP THIS SCAM!!!!

hi all ,to my complete surprize have got my money back 99.95 .Made a complaint to number08001077333.Think i might be one of the lucky ones.I wish every one the best of luck in their persute of reclaiming their monies.Yet the cheeky beggers still keep the 1.60 admin fee ,for somthing i never  asked for,they are still scum.  Regards george

Not sure about the number ringing me but my account was debited with £1.60 followed by £99.95.  I thought this was a fraudulent attack on my account so contacted my bank - Barclays.  They were quite familiar with it.  It is some sort of membership scheme that appears in the small print of TV purchases.  You may get this every year if you don't get it cancelled!!  The bank kindly sent a cancellation off on my behalf then gave me the number above to cal to get a refund of the payments made.
To be fair the call to 08001077333 was a no fuss bit of effort and no arguments.  They will refund but say it will take two weeks.  This falls in line with other web comments I've seen.  I'll see if the refund is made.  If it is refunded then to be fair I will have little to complain about except for a lesson to be learned when shopping online/TV!!
Barclays I have to say were very helpful!

This company STINKS, they are a bunch of thieving B-------. If anyone out ther readrs this do not have anything to do with this company.

POUND SAVER took £1.60 from my account without my permission and then another £99.99 i thought at first it was a shop but now realise it is identity fraud and will  be telling my bank and getting it back has anyone had any luck getting money back so far??? let me know thanks.

My Marks and Spencer credit card statement shows this company (pound saver) has taken £1.60 and £99.95 from my account. I have neither bought from them nor from any TV shopping channel.
I am taking this to the fraud investigation department first thing Monday morning. I don't even know this so called Pound Saver company.

I am just reading about this so called company Pound Saver as I did not know who they were either, so I put Pound Saver into the search, and came upon all this complaints, in 2009 I sent for a few things from the TV channels, there was Bid TV and JML and I did get something from Pitch something, two of the companies asked me if I wanted this vouchers, and I said ok then, but what they don't tell you is when you get the vouchers you have about 30 days to phone the number to cancel, either that they assume you want them, so I did not read it, and therefore in 2009, unknown to me, I had 3 payments taken off my bank account in March, one from Big Savings £99.99, plus postage for £1.99, another one from Rocket JML, £99.99, plus £1.99, another Pound Saver £1.60, at the time I did not check my bank account. Until the following year I got in a letter, saying my yearly membership is running out for  Rocket JML and you have so many days to cancel by phone, thats when I checked back all my bank statements, I phoned JML and cancelled it, thinking all the other ones was the same thing. Then in March 2010, I had £79.99, plus £1.60 from Big Savings and £99.99 plus £1.60, from this Pound Saver, who I did not know who they were to do with, so then I thought to myself, this is all to do with the same thing, a few weeks ago, I recieved another letter from Big Savings saying my memebership is running out, blaa,blaa,blaa, so I phoned them now, so they did tell me that I did cancel the Rocket JML, last year, I asked them who Pound Saver was, he did not know, so I also cancelled the Big Savings, and now I will have to find out who Pound Saver, as I am sure it will be something to do with, either Rocket JML, or Pitchwell, I will also contact my bank to make sure I don't get anymore money taken off my bank account, as I never even used any of the vouchers, as I did not want them in the first place, so I have wasted over £400 in 2 years.

Well I spoke to you at Poundsaver and sent a letter last year in November 2010, and it was sent by recorded delivery 1st class, and was told as soon as the letter arrived, the money woould be repaid to me, and I am still waiting for my money to be refunded, so this in not very good is it, so why has the money which was taken without my consent and or knowlegde still in your companies fund and  not mine
So I have to waste more time and money to phone 0800 107 7333 again on Monday the 7th of March 2011, did your company ever intend to refund me,  well at the moment, I think I was told a load of rubbish just to get me off the phone, so wait for the call on Monday, and no go this time and trading standards will be involved,  and court in needed, as your company is incapable of keeping its word, and why should we suffer financially becuase the tc channels have no control over their staff?,

Rubbish still waiting for my money all this nonsense  we will refund without a fuss, well where is my refund, hey?
"Oh we must  have asked to join Poundsaver" well there is no way I would need or want to join anything to do with your company, in fact I did not even know who or what Poundsaver were, until I phoned to ask for my money back.
The sooner that all these other companies you deal with, are  legally made to get a signed form stating that anyone wants to join, then your company should act responsibly not take money on the say so, of some sales agent who is probably desperate for money or to keep their jobs, who enters yes on the computer keyboard and bingo we have money taken without our consent or knowledge.
Then in law we are left with the your word against mine syndrome, well a reputable company would not put anyone into these ridiculous position, rigourous checks should be standard, most purchases carry a 14 day cooling off period, well hard to do this when you have been signed up to something you knew nothing about, and when I asked Pitchwell for the copy of the recording with me,  yes you got it no longer available, very conveinient !!
All the people on these pages cant all be wrong, saying they were unaware until they noticed the money taken from them.
This of course begs the question if a signature had to be obtained before membership with Poundsaver could commence then how would this affect the amount of members Poundsaver has, this is the $64,000 question?
So will I ever get my money back, I rely on shopping channels as I am disabled and cant get out and about, and Poundsaver are still holding my money absolutely scurrilous, despite a promise to refund and even given a reference number, your company should redress the system for increasing your memership and this is not the way to do it.

My mrs has had £1.60 then £99.95 taken every march for the past 3 years as far as we know taking over£300 look back at past statements they're robbing everyone

i too have had money taken from my account to the sum of £99.95. the name of the company was pound saver. it would seem that they have no intention of refunding any moneyto anyone so, it is a fraud and should be reported. This number seems to match the one for card services given to me by the bank.

When did you contact them there's people saying they've had money back and it's on this forum? We've spoke to an Irish women and she's made us fax bank statements showing how much they owe us today saying we'll have the money back??

Ring the number Mon-Fri 8am -8pm tell them you want your money that they have taken without your consent  my money was  taken out 3rd Dec 2010  refunded (after my bank gave me the number which is above ) within 10 days after I rang the on the 7th feb

I too have had money taken from my account from Pound Saver and Classic.  Phoned the above number and had my refund for both amounts back in my bank in 3 days.  They also said they have cancelled my subscription which I consider very good of them as I never had a subscription in the first place!!!

I too is a victim of this scum.  I bought a steam mop from pitchworld Nov 09.  Not knowing after a month they took £89.95 then a year later another £89.95. I have now reported this to my visa company and ask me to fill up a dispute form. They now told me that they can't take this dispute further until I've tried to come to an agreement with the retailer. I will be contacting membership services and hope for the best.  I will definitely put a complaint to trading standards, watchdog and the police and hopefully all out there who fell victim to see these scums be humiliated and put to jail. I'm a single mum  and work hard for my money and just get by.We don't need these people.

they have just done the same thing to me first it was 1.60 now 89.00 off my credit card did you have to pay it or did your credit card company sort it out cause im just gowing frew the motions of it all now and was wundering if i will have to pay it ?
