It is not that elderly people are slow, it is just that we are too trusting.  We expect people to play fair and, sadly, these days a lot of them do not.  The only reason I did not fall for this was that I had seen it on this site prior to ordering from Pitch TV.  The people on the 'phones try very hard to get callers to accept these "special offers" and are careful to avoid explaining the rules. The previous poster obviously fell for it and it makes that person feel better to call everybody idiots.  The question of personal information is a different matter.  You obviously could not order an item withou giving them name, address and card number.

I bought a micro shaver off the TV & I had no phone call but off anyone but had £1.60 & £89.95 took so thats My finish because I always use paypal but first time I didn't.

How do You get there number ? I didn't talk with anyone but My money was took ?.

I have just read your message.  I can't believe what I am reading.  I have had the same two amounts as you taken out of my bank account for 5 years.  I have rang my bank and they have said that I have to contact the company as they are not a fraudulent company.  They said I cannot stop these payments going out and they cannot cancel them for me!  I contacted this company via the email address the bank gave me but I got a guy called Todd Marshall email me from Australia saying he had nothing to do with this, although he own's a company named UK Pound Saver.  What a scam this is and the bank are saying that they are a legitimate company.  I now have to go back to my bank and hopefully they will take it on from here!  Be very careful of this company POUND SAVER!!!!  They are robbers!!!  If this has happened to anyone else would you email back.

I bought some CD's from Zesitfy TV online, a week later two lots of £1.60 was taken from my account.  When I queried it with my bank they said it was for Poundsaver, and Classic Living, on a recurrent Card Payment.  Santander were worse than useless and refused to accept it as fraud, (which is clearly is).

Ring 0800 1077 333, and query whether they're poundsaver or classive living, and tell them to cancel the recurrent card payment.  Santander have been worse than useless, so I'm seriously considering moving my account, may go back to HSBC as other readers have said it's being treated as fraud by them.

They're theirving scumbags, those that are lucky see the money has been stolen, but I'll bet there are shedloads of people who don't even notice.  The company are crooks.  I had a phone call, at no point did he mention 'Classic Living'  - 'Poundsaver' or £1.60 delivery charge, I'm awaiting the refund of the delivery charge and currently have emptied the account as that's the only way to stop any further payments being taken out.  People aren't idiots, these people are thieves, they are con men, and their mission in life is to trick people.

I too have had £89 taken without my knowledge or permission from this disgusting company.  I purchased something on line some weeks ago and received a call saying that I would receive some money off vouchers and I told them I didn't want them.  I never received anything but money taken anyway.  I will be going to my bank to report it tomorrow as well as ringing the company concerned.  I have also reported to the BBC watchdog programme.

You obviously haven't read most of these messages.  Despite calling this company people are not getting refunds.  I will be calling them tomorrow and will be reporting them to my bank for further investigation.  I have also reported to Watchdog.  I am extremely careful with my personal details and it is quiet clear that this is a con and they should be reported and investigated.  Who's the idiot?

They're still doing this nice little con, bought CD's 14/02/12, got hit for £1.60 x 2 on 22/02/12 - you guessed it Poundsaver and Classic living.  Crooks.

Phone your bank, now that you've given them time to refund the bank should be able to do something, if they can't I'd recommend shopping for anther bank as they're not working in your interests if they don't persue this.  At the moment I've complaints outstanding to my bank for their lapse attitude, in addition to mailing various organisations and Watchdog, they that shout together shout loudest.

Phone your bank, they should be able to give you the contact number, but banks seem to varya lot on what their attitude is, Santander were pretty hopeless, fraud refused to speak to me and at the moment I've resorted to emptying the account whilst arranging to move elsewhere.  I've complained to the bank about their reaction to my problem, but they've not responded yet.

i did not get a call from the company themselves,the fraud prevention department from my bank have just been on the phone and said a company who come up on statement as poundsaver-card have tried many many times to take £89.95 out of my account an said they r based in ireland! the woman from the bank tried to ring them when i was waiting on phone to try and find out what they were trying to take the money for an they told her "was something to do with a purchase i would of made on the telly"  which is a load of rubbish! so please beware!!!!!

I got My refund £129 in four days ! So dont give up folks Good Luck.
