DONT STEAL FROM ME!!!!! replies to Lynne
POUND SAVER have stolen from many... and those who work for them instead of trying to defend them, (as you can clearly see there is a problem) YOU should talk to your management and get them to contact the Tele Shopping channel and demand they stop handing over peoples details without permission. I personally think that if Pound Saver was such a great honest company (as these workers are trying to defend) then they wouldn't sneak and steal money from customers who were never theirs. So YES I have contacted my bank, watchdog, and I will contact "rip off Britain, and trading standards' AS I'm making it my mission to get  POUND SAVER FINED and CLOSED DOWN for GOOD!!!!!!!!!!... and my refund of £89.95 which you STOLE.

I got a refund, and it seems quite a few people do, so good luck with getting her money back.  It's a lousy thing to do to anyone, and banks should all be working together to stop it otherwise it'll never get stopped and these people will continue to make money from innocent people in their own home without even having to go out in the cold or face their victims.

Do Not Buy from company ecigsbrand.co.uk. My mum thought she was doing well by ordering from this company and buying an electronic cigarettes to aid her to stop smoking, she bought it on-line and then the week after she had mail from classicliving saying after her 30 day trial she will be charged £39.95 plus £1.60 admin charge. Then the next day another letter came from Poundsaver saying after your 30 day free trial she will be charged £89.95 plus £1.60 admin.I rang them and they had all my mums details and bank card all from buying an e-cigarette, all these companies are ONE. Even though my mum ticked the box saying No MARKETING they just passed it to there sister companies. THEY ARE A TOTAL RIP OFF BEWARE OF THEM ALL.
If you get any phone calls from either 08000394043---- or 08000962926
or 02033188540 BEWARE OF THEM THEY WILL SCAM YOU.
My mum has had to cancel her bank cards otherwise they will take the money out, and they will do the same next year.  BLOODY SCAMMERS

I have called the number this morning and they have assured me my money will go back into my account in 5 days. I ordered from BNL media on line and somewhere i either missed ticking a box or ticked a box i shouldnt have ticked, I dont think its poundsaver at fault its the TV shopping channels that are at fault for not making you aware of what will happen in 30 days. Thats the last time i order from them. Lets just see if i get refunded now!!!!!!!!!

I tried buying a Country Music CDs from a website Zestify.tv for my wifes christmas. Having given my card details I never received the CD's. After a couple of months I managed to get my money 60.86 back from Zestify Media Ltd, They sounded an Irish company. On the same day as the refund two transactions of 1.60 came out of my account, one from Poundsaver and the other from Classic Living. This went largley un-noticed but they were obviously testing the water. However on on my February staement they were getting bolder. 89.95 Poundsaver and 39.95 Classic Living.  I phoned the number and pretty sure I was speaking to the same Irish woman as Zestify. She tried saying I had bought something from a shopping channel and they must have passed my details. Said I'd never done this. She said someone else must have. I said not possible as my card never leaves me. To cut a long story short she finally said that I had bought products of Zestify. I said I tried buying them but never received them although they had taken my card details. In that case she said I will refund the Pound Saver money and the Classic Living money. ZESTIFY MEDIA LTD and ZESTIFY.TV IS THE SAME BUNCH OF CROOKS AS POUND SAVER AND CLASSIC LIVING BEWARE.

Just rang the bank as everyone else probably has -after a 20 minute argument about the annual fee I pay to protect myself from issues like this they are finally going to dispute the payment -apparently they have 60 days to contact the bank if they feel I am liable for the payment !!! I suppose that way I can get a feisable contact number.  However when I asked if this would stop any further debits being made against my account the answer was NO I would need to ring them every time to dispute the payment - so not over yet!!!!!

I would like to say thank you to the thousands of people who have complained on this website, without whom we woldn't have known what to do so quickly.

We bough products from E-cigs online and 10 mins later received a call from Pound Saver cleverly claiming an association with E-Cigs to the point where my partner thought she was talking to E-Cigs. She said yes to things that she, in hindsight, shouldn't have and 30 days later £91.55 left our account into the coffers of Pound Saver. We did receive a bunch of vouchers a few weeks back, and instantly threw them away, like most junk mail.

We called Pound saver on 08001077333 this morning, having been told by Nat West, there was nothing they could do. We denied having ever had the 2nd call, denied ever having received any thing in the post and denied all knowledge of anything (If they are gonna be deceitful, so are we)

We have been promised a refund in the next few days or possibly, the next few hours, as we have caught the payment whilst it was still pending. Fingers crossed.

I have had 2 months of £1.60 taken from my account for both Pound Saver and Classic Living. Halifax BS
told me that it is not their problem and I should contact 0800 1077333 and cancel the agreement in order to stop these monies being taken each month. I have cancelled my Credit Cards but the money is still being debited from my account.
Please can anybody help me to stop these debits.

I have just received a welcome pack from Classic Living and Poundsaver, and was very confused as to where they got my details.  By checking back through my bank account I realised that they must have got my details from THANE DIRECT.  I bought something over the phone from them, and was asked if I wanted any free vouchers.  I said "No", but the guy said, "Well, I could send them to you anyway as they are free".  I still didn't agree.

Further information disclosed that Thane Direct have sold my bank details to Classic Living and Poundsaver, and I have been signed up for a trial period.  I have had 2 lots of £1.60 deducted from my account.  Having read the above comments I quickly contacted my bank who stopped my card (which is inconvenient), and I will be reclaiming the £1.60.  However, I am disgusted that companies can send my details to other companies without specifically informing me they are going to do that.  I have contacted Thane Direct and will be contacting Classic Living and Poundsaver, as well as Watchdog and the police.  If everyone who complains on this site does the same perhaps this scam will be closed down.

Here is all the info you guys need after a great deal of searching !!!!!
    CustomerService@PoundSaverCard.co.uk.  08000962925
    CustomerService@MyClassicLiving.co.uk.  08000962926

After quoting section 12.3 of their cancellation process they have refunded both unauthorised payments

Please make sure you follow up the cancellation process  it is better to email them as it will give you written confirmation of the cancellation should they try to take the monies again. -make sure you keep the confirmation as due to the changes in visa card regs if they do try to take any more money it can be passed to the fraud section from your bank  if ever needed however I am still waiting for a response from both companies for a confirmation of me authorising the payments to be debited to my account

On another note you should also log a complaint about the company who passed on you details as per the data protection act ......

    Good luck
