Belle it's a little hard to understand your arguments due to the fact they are littered with very poor punctuation. Maybe concentrate a little less on spelling and more on actually being able to put sentences together and people may take you seriously.
There is no office at that address in London by the way, so happy hunting :)
We take it on good faith that you've agreed, and as I'm sure someone as educated as you will know that a verbal agreement is binding, so that's good enough to take money from your account.
Just to clarify, your company does nothing wrong, if other companies do something underhanded we clean up the mess with apologies and refunds. We're not the companies signing anyone up to anything. Is it the wholesaler's fault if the retailer sells one of their products under false pretenses?? Of course not, but they'll probably still listen to you [***] and moan and give you your money back anyway.
Maybe put some of that anger into something constructive. Or else move to Spain using someone else's money....that's what I did!!

I received my statement from my bank today, and saw that £1.60 plus  £99.95 had been paid out of my account to Pound Saver on 21 August 2012.  When I rang my bank, they agreed to cancel the payment so that it wont happen again, but they said they couldn't pay back the above amounts!  I haven't given my permission for this money to be taken, and I feel furious that some crooked company can just take over £100 out of my account.  Surely this is illegal.

Yes - LV8* POUND SAVER  took two unauthorised payments from me on 3/1012; £99.95 and £1.60.  I've reported this to my bank and they say will protect me if further debits are made - but I will have to notify them each time.  But as for the recent debits - they say they will not refund and I need to take it up with the company.  The phone number they gave me (08000962925) does not ring out - but I will try again on Monday.

It seems the scam goes back to when we bought an Mop Steamer from Thane Direct via the TV shopping channel.  My wife agreed to some voucher offer for low cost holidays and later she signed up for this.  We cancelled within the 30 days but they had our debit card details by then.  Now, more than a year later, we get these unauthorised transactions.

Does anyone know if this company is the one doing this? Poundsaver: http://www.psoffers.co.uk/v1.1/index.cfm?CFID=372822&CFTOKEN=86833731

I am going to try to get a refund next week.

The Financial Ombudsman has details here http://www.financial-ombudsman.org.uk/publica ... ransactions.htm  of the help that might be available to you.        Of course Banks will refuse to refund to avoid effort.      You do not need to accept crap service from them.    We still own most of them.

My parents - ages 82 and 75 have had 2 lots of £1.60 taken out of their account under the names of poundsaver and classic living and then the following month amounts of £89.95 and £69.95 taken out - same names.
My dad queried both amounts with the bank and they had all monies refunded.
From what I have read on this website it can be traced back to a steam cleaner my mum bought on a tv shopping channel.  I asked my mum if she had agreed to anything when she purchased the steam cleaner and she said she had declined everything else offered over the phone - so why was the money still taken out?
This wants stopping.  Thankfully my parents bank have now passed this on to their fraud department and my parents are changing their bank details to stop anything else being taken out of their account.

ive ordered the steam supreme twice like a bloody fool. Not had either, waited weeks then called them only to be told 'oh an email was going to go out to you and its out of stock' - they shouldnt have taken the money if not in stock as they told me it would be with me within 5 days. Still waiting for money to appear in my account, going to trading standards now and bbc watchdog
