You cannot blame the Royal Mail for consistently failing to deliver for 3 consecutive years. You have once again taken money from my account even though I have E-mailed cancellation on 3 occasions however,I have instructed my A/C holder to stop any payments from my account as I have received no service of any description including a nil response to my communications. How is it that you no longer appear to have a website showing your full contact details including your customer service contact numbers?

I too have been a victim of this scam. The unauthorised payment of 89.95 has been taken out of my bank account under the name of lv8 pound saver. I bought an aire bra my first and last ever shopping channel product from Thaine Direct. I was offered free discount vouchers at the time of purchase but was never advised that this payment would be taken out of my account. I'm fuming mad and reading these posts I can't believe they have been allowed to do this for 3 years. I will be reporting this to Thane Direct, pound saver,  watch dog and trading standards. I will also be ringing the "reserve squad" in the morning to demand a full refund.

Just checked my bank statement. £1.60 and £99.95 were taken out yesterday at a POS. When i rang up to enquire the woman told me they had come from poundsaver. I had to get her to repeat it because I have never heard of such a company and going by what everyone else has said it has something to do with buying products from tv channels. I have never done this and was shocked when I saw it had been taken from me. Thankfully I got my card cancelled and hopefully my money will be reinstated in the next few days. Hope this doesnt continue to affect many more people!

Absolute con! same thing as most on here! Pound Saver and Classic Living have been taking cash from my account since last year and i have only just realised. £130 taken over 2 months and a further £41 taken yesterday!!!

However, just spoke to them (based in Northern Ireland) and i have been promised a full refund within 5 to 10 days.

These are old posts. just to let you all know this is still happening. Ordered from Thane direct and now 2 payments of 1.69 and 49.99. I spoke to the person on 08000962926 and they have promised a return of the moneys. Let me see.

A con by saving you more money than the membership costs and also give you a free month to try it out and offer a refund at any time??? They must not be great con men!!

Absolute scam, can't believe they've taken 2 lots of 1.60 and then 39.95 and 89.95 from my account. I never agreed to these payments and as far as I'm concerned they've been robbed from me. I phoned up the number given above and demanded a refund, they talked at me for ages and kept on pressuring me into taking on the membership even after I demanded my money back, they phone call went on for 20 minutes and I was just passed from person to person with no refund. THEN...I read the comment above about the reserve squad, I rand back and demanded to talk to them...they couldn't even get a word in, it was brilliant, I just kept on saying I WANT TO BE PUT THROUGH TO THE RESERVE SQUAD and they finally relented and put me through, 30 seconds later I was given a full refund and apology and that was 2 weeks ago, I have just received the refund today! Success!

I was lookig at my bank account on line this thursday and i noticed £1.60 and £99.95 had gone from my account in the same day to POUND SAVER i phoned my bank barclays and they put me through to the fraud department i  explained to them i have never heard of pound saver or have i ever given anyone permission to sign me up for anything, top marks to barclays as they refunded my money the next day they tell me they will be investigating this matter and getting intouch with the police, as i see it, it is stealing and as for the people that have wrote on here that work for pound saver you know it is a scam why dont the company you work for get in touch with the people before you steal their money and ask them did they sign up for anything, if i did not notic this i would have been £100 pound short of my morgage payment this month and would have got extra charges for that.

The fsa rules for banks state the banks must cancel if you ask them to and they know this as these are your rights so if your bank still says no state the updated fsa rules from jan 2012 hope this helps.

Checked  my bank ststement and foun £99.95 +£1.60 taken from my account by Pound Saver - never heard or traded with them. I have tried to phone  08701602513 but no connection. I do not know how to get i touch with these thieves. I was reminded by your letter that i had purchesed dvd's from Zestify. There must be some connection with them.

Hi M, I to have been conned.  I spotted an amount of £89.95 on my account.  When I queried it with my bank they said it was a company called POUNDSAVER  (which afer 3 hours of web searching) I discovered is a seller on behalf of a company known as Encore Card Marketing Ireland.  After spending 2 hours in my bank we discovered that I had paid £1.60 on line to Poundsaver for discounts on hotels not realising that there was also annual feee.  After researching their Membership Terms and Data Protection I discovered that I was supposed to receive a welcome pack with a Membership No.  Now that I know what it is for I wanted to cancel and th no. The bank gave me a phone no. for POUNDSAVER which I rung only to find a dead line. The  no. was 0870 1602513.  I want to cancel this but can find nowhere to contact them. Any suggestions?   Thanks

Lets take a nice chunk of hard earned (alledgedly legitimately earned) money out of your account without your consent or knowledge and lets see how you feel about this? Im more than happy to send your account details to anyone if you dont mind purchasing some B***S*** vouchers-Is that ok with you?  In fact lets put your card number on a billboard? As this is the reality isnt it?  Data protection my a**
I am pleased that you have such loyalty to your company but others are clearly is scamming hundreds of people in conjunction with these shopping channels.  Ofcourse we all love discounts and a bargain but when its mis-sold you have to admit its not the customers fault.  More importantly the use of your card number for something you didnt sign up for is pretty underhanded.  
So lets get real and please dont tell people its their fault.  You know full well what your up to especially when-the scammers are apologetic and clearly offering the promise of a refund when caught out.  
Also other supporters of this scam evidently need to go back to school- no matter what part of Ireland he comes from as his spelling is appalling. Dont insult the public about the Royal Mail either as everyone uses that one to hide behind. They've never let me down and if they did Im sure its not hard to pin them down.  It is a FACT that so many people are being scammed;- we all havent gone zombie and lost our senses over the phone when we clearly have been lied to and ofcourse there is no proof!
