- jabbagunnerok it's the 15th of nov i have looked back at my statements on the 5th of oct they took 2 lots of £1.60, about the 8th of Nov £89.95 and then 14th £39.95..
or course i look up lv8 classic living and see all this so i though it may be to do with a repurchase from zestify tv so i send a sort email about the Freud . they emailed me back and told me that i was signed up for a discount service by thane direct way back in Oct 2days after my repurchase the 2 £1.60 where taken ... now when i think back i was refereed some kinda discount service that i could cancelled b4 1 month and i woud have no fee's to pay. Now a little about me i do not even use direct debit i trust no one i remember telling this guy from thane direct that under no circumstances sign me to this and ever at the end of the convo i said b4 i hung up u make sure u do not sign me up to anything what so ever .... so in closing though i contacted zestify i still get an email from lv8 classic live so these [***] are all linked shame on them i will never use these tv shopping channels ever again and for fyi the contact number i got today from worked and they have said they will be refunding all my moneys ....the email

I will call again on monday when they are open, watch this space
- William replies to Greig Mc Donald| 1 replyCause we love yo money an we gonna keep on taking it cause you signed up fo it!!
- Mobbler replies to mobuttYou're not taking it any further you moron! You gave your details so shut up. You wanted this, you needed this, you begged for the memberships. Just swallow your pill like the rest of them and keep on giving us your subscription.
- Shar replies to Greig Mc DonaldJust to let you all know that another name to watch out for is pitchtv.
I found a link to them on Amazons website when I was looking for a toy that my grandson was desperate for.I bought the toy, paid by debit card as I always do,and a few days later had a "courtesy call " from them to notify me that my order was on its way. A nicely spoken lady " was pleased to inform me that they'd be including details of an offer to join a moneysaving club". My reply was similar to others that have commented-that I wasn't interested in anything that had a charge attached to it.
Today I opened a package weighing pounds from Pitch Moneysavers Club via The Rocket Marketing Group .An enclosed letter informed me that I had a free trial membership for 30days,after which £99.99 would be debited from the card I'd used to order the toy and they'd continue to do that each year until cancelled. In addition they'd debited £2.99 p+p for the joining pack. They gave a tel.no.to use to cancel membership but stipulate that the pack has to be returned.I called to cancel, was assured it would be, and have been told to dispose of the pack.P+P it seems is not refundable, but I will pursue it on principle and I'll check with my bank about any deductions to date,as soon as I can reach them.
The tel no: 08448 809 889 and I spoke to a guy who told me firstly he was one name and then gave me a second, similar sounding name and an extension number, along with my cancellation ref. number!
Apparently they don't confirm the cancellations in writing in any way! So I guess Ill keep checking my bank account for a while! - EmmalouPound saver isn't a scam! Although when I rang them a few year back to cancel this subscription but clearly didn't. I rang my bank who gave me the number to call Poundsaver and when I did they were really helpful and gave me a refund with no questions asked. Basically I do find it really shocking how shopping channels pass on your info without consent, they are the ones who need reporting. People who have been targeted the number you actually need to call is 08000962926

- Pauline Norwich replies to zI have had the same thing happen to me this so called pound saver has just taken £89 from my bank without permission and dont know how be cause I have not authorised it or given out my bank details
- p-auline norwichI have been scammed by pound saver taking money from my bank
- Call type: Telemarketer
- StacyBy any chance has the money come off cards that had just in the last 3 months expired or were cancelled. As mine was I find it interesting that they waited until it had to take the money off. As the bank have said they can't stop the money coming off as card has expired, and because either i've bought something from a website or because i've signed up to a subscription.

- rachaelI noticed just before christmas my account was £14.90 overdrawn and was told by the bank the transaction was for poundsaver I only use my account for direct debit to tv licening and paypal for ebay. I was told I was not allowed to overdraw and don't know how they have managed to get my details and put my account overdrawn.

- rachel haymanwhy have they taken money out of our account
- Caller: personal

- KeithSimilar problem. Apparently the company offers a one month free trial of something as part of another transaction and then automatically charges if you do not have the presence of mind to cancel. The free trial was rejected at the outset but somehow they managed to get it going on the back of a legitimate purchase made. I have been advised all monies will be credited back and I am awaiting the outcome. This is sharp practice and we all need to be aware of "free gifts" as there are no "free" gifts in life.
