phonedtele no got through but ct off when trans to supervisor several times, soy why was this/
used bank phone as it took 1.5 hrs to get no where so lost 200 be very careful ,hope this willhelp others not to good

hi paul same happend to me as you can see went to bank, to find out what is this, also phoned fraud squad , but as subscription un able to help ;so now will monitor this company also send letter of cancilation but no refunds will be given ,these people can see these coments smilling all the way to the bank ialso bought articale from tv ,and got taken buy this mob

Are you for real or can't you read, some of these people are pensioners who never authorised any free trial yet there details were passed over, do you not understand the Data Protection Law, and money was taken from their bank. Do us a favour and learn to read before making daft comments.

pound saver took from my bank account £14.95 since february 2013 five months now and I just saw it today on my online banking I thought wait what did I bought and then I remember I saw this earlier in my bank statement so I went five months back until February, call my bank they say will try to get a refund and blocked this a**hole company from payments so if you see it cancel it at first piont and try to contact them I emai them as well,
PS. in my life I never pay anything online or order on tv shopping
If they not giving my money back I will take them to court and make them pay for all expenses for court YOU HEARD ME BLOODY LEV8 POUND SAVER!!!!!!!

You need to speak to your bank about them. My bank picked up on it straight away and my card was replaced. They only have my old card details now. A very good plan is to open a new account solely for Internet shopping and only keep what you need in there by transferring funds over to it when you want to buy. Make sure sure the bank do not let anyone overdraw on it. What these guys do is test the account by taking out small amounts then take larger amounts if they have been successful. Crooks. It's tv shopping DON'T DO IT!.

Yes Andie you are. Correct I have just noticed the same two payments go out from my bank account. Have spoken to the bank just and reported it as fraud. Back said the money will be back in my account within 12 hours.

How do we stop the money going from bank account?

There are several posts on here telling you how to cancel and how to get your money back.

It is a scam they took 1.60 then 99.95 out of my account then 1.60 and 59.95 and Ive never used a shopping channel !

Also recently debited £1.60 and £89.95 and have never teleshopped or had any dealings with Pound Saver.
Sent complaint to Watchdog as suggested. Telephoned Pound Saver using number supplied but recording said office was closed and opens between 8am and 8pm. I telephoned at 6.45pm. Lodged dispute with credit card company who also tried to phone during office hours to no avail.

have never shopped on tv or had dealings with this bunch of thieves.99.95p and 1.60 were taken from my account without my knowledge.have contacted bank and got my money back.don't let this company get away with this.they should be shut down.

I think I bought something on the tv some time ago. After I noticed money like 1.60  and 99 .89 has been taken out of my account each month from some company called pound saver. This was reported to my bank and my card was cancelled. This stopped for some time but it appears like they have started again. They have taken from my account on the 2 Sept  twice 1.60  and 99.89 which making the total of 201.60. 99.86 and 1.60 was refund into my account on the 4 sept but the rest wasn't. How they got my details in the first place? Something need to be done about those thieves . Nobody called me but I notice the reference number on my statement just now n trying calling that number and this unusual female voicemail asking me to call back from 8-8 opening hours.

You are a lying bunch of god knows what I never sign up for anything I never have credit I always pay for what I want and at my age and experience I know a scam when I see one hope you all get caught and get jail time I will warn everyone I see about this scam it will be on Facebook and papers you will be caught

The Halifax finally credited my credit card account so now l have my money back.
Thane Direct should be banned from trading as they are thieves.
If individual did this kind of thing then they would be arrested and charged so l
don,t understand why the police have not got involved with Thane Direct after the hundreds of thousands
of pounds that Thane Direct have swindled out of customers.
I cannot believe that the scams are still going on.
