Poundsaver/Classic Living have stolen 4 amounts of money from my personal bank account.   I had no dealings with either company but my personal bank debit card details were passed to them by the shopping channel bnlmedia.com. They then used my card to obtain money from my bank account.   I have reported all companies to Trading Standards and after contacting Poundsaver/Classic Living when they promised to return the money they had taken - 2 amounts of £1.60 followed by £89.95 followed by 2 amounts of £39.95 (I got one amount of £39.95 back) - I have now reported the theft to the police.

IF YOU HAVE HAD THE SAME PROBLEMS WITH THESE COMPANIES REPORT IT TO actionfraud.police.uk as the more complaints they get the more chance is they will investigate these companies.    You need to do more than just complain about them on online - tell the Police.

My Mum's debit card is just now showing this as well - 2 payments, one for £1.60 and another for £49.95.

last year I purchased a cd collection of classic country&western music this was a one off payment of about £60.on may 1 this year an amount of £99.95 was taken from my account by this company poundsaver I have found out that a company called encore card marketing are connected.this scam has got to be stopped.i have informed my bank fraud dept .

I noticed 4 transactions on my credit card statement, 1 from Classic Living for £49.95 and £1.60 and ffor Pound Saver for £99.95 and £1.60.  Spoke to my CC company - Marks and Spencer to report these as suspicious payments - they said to ring the number quoted on the credit card statement to query the payments - this was 08000962926 for Classic Living and 08000962925 for Pound Saver, both were unobtainable.  They advised me that they were renewal of subscriptions.  Rang back and M&S gave me 0800 0394045.  (they know about these companies but did absolutely nothing to help me).  They said it was probably connected with something that I had bought on a shopping channel. They said they charge £1.60 for postage and so that would be what these transactions wer for.

I checked my statements for last year and sure enough I had been charged. £39.95  by Classic Living and £89.95 by Pound Saver, in addition to £1.60 for each company for postage!!!  I have never received anything from either company!!!!!

I rang 0800 0394045 (this is the same number for both these companies).  Told them that I was reporting them to the Office of Fairtrading, Trading Standards Office and also Watchdog since they had taken this money without consent.

My threats seem to have worked - I have been refunded all monies except the £7.40 for postage.  Having seen all the comments on this website, I seem to have done well.   I have now cancelled my Marks and Spencer credit card as I feel really strongly that they should have taken this on and recovered the monies for me.

I was browsing thru my bank details simplar things happened to me i will be noting down actionfraud.police.uk  aswell as fraud squad in my bank suggest everyone else contact the police it hard to think how many people this is happening too an the amount there frauding people its a disgrace!

I CANNOT believe how this is being allowed to happen. The same amount has been taken out of my account and my bank has said it is  'recurring' and as lv*8 are NOT members of the Visa/credit card - so as this amount is for a 'Membership' of whatever - it will appear every time the 'membership is due - and the banks say they can do nothing about - OUTRAGEOUS !! We must all get onto the Ombudsman that deals with banking practice (if I set up a direct debit /standing order - the bank has to send me notification - but apparently not with this scam)
I traced LV*8 poundsaver to N Ireland and this was the information I was given . Phone the number given for lv*8poundsaver and CANCEL  the membership - even tho' you haven't joined. These companies all come under the umbrella of British Discounts....

Could you please help me as we have also got them taking money from our bank, could you tell me what number you called i have tried several.

I have had £1.60.  £95.95.taken out of my bank by pound saver also £59.95 taken out by classic living went to bank and they said it was not fraud but crossed lines when we bought something they gave me this number to phone 08000962925  they are going to put money taken back into my account  spoke to a mr Martin Murphy I still think its a scam how many people don't realise they are having money taken out

Just what the hell i went to my account to see my balance and found it was in the [***] RED, i am just going to my bank for what i don't know fat chance of getting any money out of them, banks only wont your money summit goes wrong and you are on your own. pleases someone stop this from going on £99.95 and £1.60 gone time to close bank account

I had my card blocked and pitch tv still managed tl take out 99.99 it is now in the hands of my bank. i ordered 2steam cleaners at the value of 106.00 pound but only received one,then they have charged me 99.99 for the ridiculous vouchers that i havant used.

Hi my name is Tracy, I have also been scammed by pitch tv . After ordering 2 off steam mops for £106 , I also also sent free money off vouchers for £2.99. They only delivered. 1 off of the steam mops and I am still waiting for the other one. Slim chance of them sending the other one. Because I hadn't received the 2nd mop 1 month ago I went to my bank and cancelled my bank card just in case they tried to take money from my account. Thinking that was the best thing to do. My bank said that no more money could be taken from my account without permission . Today 6th June 2013 I find out that they have taken another £99.99 from my account even when my old card was cancelled. How can they do this? I have been in touch with my bank and their fraud squad are looking into this.   I will try the ring the number you have suggested to report my angry to them. Only this morning I advised one of my tenants from a sheltered accommodation to report this to her bank. She has no idea how her details were obtained by this company. She hasn't purchased anything from a shopping channel. THIS IS A SCAM and needs dealt with by the authorities

Yes its happened to me too. 2 payments of 14.95 in April and May 2013.

just received 2 cards in the post one from classic and one from pound saver saying they are taking money out of my parents account- i will be contacting their bank immediately not to pay anything out

took £49.50 from my account without my consent then took a further £89.95 also without my consent possibly originates from teleshopping when i declined their offer of cut price vouchers tried to phone their number but to no avail in the my bank refunded the money and cancelled my card

Received Pound Saver card yesterday, obviously a scam & would have ignored it but looked at comments on here, & particularly noted the comments about card due to be renewed, mine is next month.
Nothing taken as yet but went to my bank & cancelled card - although pissed of that they couldn't guarantee the £89.95 wouldn't be taken from my account - apparently if it is their fraud dept would intervene.
I've never bought from tv co.s, so looked at their site - both www addresses given on card mailshot I received - www.poundsavercard-cancel.com & www.poundsavercard.co.uk - are invalid.
Phone no. 08000 962925 - gives message to cancel sending you to www.l-ev8.eu - which is parent marketing company based in US & Ireland
