I had a call from this number to my mobile whilst I was on the house phone to a mate - it went to answerphone and all it was, was on-hold music - It's a good job I don't pay to pick up my answerphone messages. I'd like to know who's phoning from this number and how they got my mobile number.

I had a call from 08003289393 on several VoIP lines provided by another service provider.  

As they terminate on an Asterisk VoIP PABX, any caller with the CLI  08003289393  is now routed to a 'Telecom Mongolia' recorded announcement that the code has been changed and inviting them to redial using the new code!  

I'm sure BT would probably be trying to persuade me to return to them ?

There's another 0800 number that usually calls mobiles and asks stupid questions about your network. It belongs to AMG. I'm told it's a good idea to answer "yes" to all their questions including "Are you a moron?"

No it isn't!. I had a call at 10.30 last night  on my mobile which woke me I have nothing to do with BT and certainly have no unpaid bills with them!

My phone rang and answer machine kicked in and recorded a quite loud noise but no-one spoke.

Had a call from this number  it was from BT saying that the phone company i was with was on of the dearest and offering free transfer back to BT  I said not interested as no BT line here she said it wouldn't cost anything to put in a line. I said no she said ok thank you and goodbye.

been getting calls from this number for about a week now, starting to get annoying, how do mi stop them ?

Called claiming to be from BT regarding the new Phone Book and that they are now charging businesses to have an entry in the business section.  Do we want an entry? erm....

I have nothing with BT, neither internet or landline.I just got a message from them on my mobile regarding my BT landline??? Very suspecious...

Just had a call from this number...all I had was an answer machine message of a guy sounding annoyed and saying hello before hanging up

It is a reversed call cahrge call . Someone trying to to call you and reverse the charge .

IM NOT A CUSTOMERTS SO PLEASE DO NOT CALL ME .

Got a legit call from BT on this number.  Seems to be spoofed from time to time.

I was waiting for a BT Engineer to visit - I had a call from this number which I did not answer because I did not recognise it, but the caller left a message to tell me the BT Engineer had been delayed and gave me a new estimated time of arrival

If it is BT who ring from this number why the hell do they ring at silly o'clock and WHY are they ignorant enough NOT to answer the people who call the number back..!!!! people who claim to work for BT that have replied to this should perhaps tell their leaders how ignorant BT are becoming.

I had a problem with my BT Broadband and requested a call back from a manager... this was the number they called back from, nothing any more sinister than BT. Actually no, they are sinister enough.

This is correct. I just had a call and my answer machine said someone wanted to reverse the charges. The fee is £1.99 for every 30 seconds if u accept the call.

well its not exactly bt really its an outsourcing company which does the work for bt and that is why bt does not have a record of the call.
