( Dont take it offensive).. she said em calling from virgin media but i dont think so cause she was giving me some offfers for free n saying this n that... she was tryin to get my details but i refused... NO one should give Detials to anyone... Thanks

i keep getting a call from this number i wont ring back as you hear so much about dodgy phone calls

this is getting beyond a joke .. without changing my contract phone number . . how can i get round this bluudy nuisence calling

African lady calls me offering virgin broadband for £4 a month.  Says im a valued customer for over a year!!! haha signed up for virgin 4 months ago so obviously has no details of mine in front of her other than a number and a name.  Listened to her talk non stop for about 5 mins. Then told her she cant be Virgin as she would know when i signed my contract and hung up.

No getting persistant phone calls from this number (4 times just today)!!! This is very dodgy!!!!

getting lots of calls during the day from this number, I do shift work and was woken between night shifts. answered the phone once for it just to have the dialling tone. Grrr

Getting really annoyed with these people keep calling me, when i reject the call, they just call back again and again.

I had a phonecall from this number at lunchtime today. As always with phone numbers I don't know, I check them out outline to see what they were since I get A LOT.

Anyway, they phoned and I answered it to listen only to silence for 5-10 seconds. We get a lot of silent calls like that so I went to hang-up. Just as I go to do so, a male with a foreign accent sheepishly asked "Hello?". Of course I replied back with my own hello and then they said nothing for a couple of seconds before sheepishly saying "Thank you" quickly and they hung up.
Very strange people.

This number called me 5 times a day at least for about 3 weeks everytime i left it to ring off. Then they stopped all together and today ive had another 3 calls after a 2-3 month gap! Ringing after 9pm i dont think is very professional of "Virgin" if it is them which i doubt!

Chinese lady rang offering £2 a month  on top of my bill for dialling 0845 and 0870 numbers
says to ring virgin on 150 to check she is legit.
I put phone down on her after saying yes to £2 on my bill.
she never asked for card details or anything.
I then waited 1 minute and tried to ring 150 virgin media.
she was still on end of phone, saying thank you very much for your custom ! LoL
now 2 mins later she still on end of phone LMAO
ok, 5 mins later she has gone now, I'm ringing 150 and asking virgin media wth (wot the hell) is going on

ok yes it is legit and they have added it to my account.
glad really as family use about £5 - £10 of call useage to 0870 and 0845 numbers

Just had this call today (0800 408 9340)  asking me to upgrade to Talk Unlimated, phobbed them off  to end the call, phoned virgin media straight away from my home phone (150) they CONFIRMED its an off-shore sales team.

If you ask them to they will remove you from their sales contact list.

p.s as im wighting this iv just got another scam call seconds after this (withheld number thogh) sounded very simaler to the previous call center hmm related maby ? This one was asking about government grants for home loanes (put the phone down on them)

Had a call from this number loads and missed every one, untill tonight and i answered it he said it was Virgin Media and said i have rang  some o8 numbers and if i take out a new package they have you get 200 mins free for £5 per month bur i get the first 2 months free. He also asked my pass word, but i would not give it.  I did ring it back and it said it was Virgin very odd and it is the same recorded voise they use on Virgin.

Just had this call myself. Checked with VM on 150, got the proper UK call centre and they said it WAS one of their numbers. Hence opt out isn't working. The bit that really gets you is that after you've found out that it WAS a legit VM number you're left with a UK call centre saying your package CAN'T be improved??! Who was right..............? What did you miss out on............?

keep on getting calls daily no reply when i answer

Just got a call from this number asking for an Adrain White. I said wrong number and the American sounding lady said sorry she must have dialled the wrong number and hung up.

Been called over 40 times now during the last 3 weeks from this number. Nothing is ever said and i was hanging up after 5 seconds. I have now stopped answering the call altogether. I have reported them to my providers nuisance team (O2) who cannot block incoming calls so i have reverted to the following steps to stop try and minimise this:
1. Created a new contact called TELEPESTS on my Iphone & added this number
2. Downloaded a silent ringtune online (Just google for iphone silent ringtone.) Downloaded the ringtone from the top returned search result 'richardkmillerDOTcom and copied across to ITunes.
3. Assigned this silent ringtone as a custom ringtone to the newly added contact.

Now i don't hear the phone ring after 9pm from these idiots. It's also great contact to add further numbers should you not want to hear from other phone pests !!

I will also be reporting them to Virgin Media and Ofcom as a nuisance call should i continue to receive these unwanted calls as it is now a form of harrassment..
