tps does not do anything at all

We have just received a call from Homeguard Direct.  The lady - called Kim - sounded very nice but because we have had calls from similar companies in the past who have taken money from our account we are very suspicious and told her we weren't interested. She left the above no. and extension no.  Having now looked them up on the web we won't be getting in touch.

hello i work for homeguard direct we are not a scam company we do offer a better rate of service than domestic and general insurance that are recommended by sky.
We are cheaper as we are an independant engineering company and we cut out the middle man, you deal directly with the engineers.

Homeguard is a big rip off - they took 120.00 or more off my mother-in-law's bank account - sent her a duplicate copy of their so called contract - 1st year pay 30.00 quarter then 2nd and 3rd year free - what company can do this to pensioners - only a bogus company - I hope you rot in hell and get your upcomings - have you ever thought of registering your company is that why you can afford such a big house number 20 Linnet Close, Wick, Littlehampton - oh and when you ask the operator for your number (why are you told X directory) when your company gives an 0800 number - bloody rogues

homeguard is a bogus company - they ripped my mother-in-law off - luckily I had chance to see her contract after she told me and we have canceeled her direct debit with Homeguard so they will be able to take no more money from her account

Bogus - bogus - bogus - bogus - bogus bogus - do not in any instance give any details to HomeGuard direct for plumbing/satellite or PC. They can't even operate the internet site correctly - when you look this site is currently unavailable please ring the number shown and leave your details one of our operators will ring you back within a day - funny enough my wife rung up and it is the same person using different name - Charlotte/Stacy and many more

Be warned - do not give your bank details to them

If you are a genuine company why have you not registed with the FSA - i have looked on the internet and you cannot even offer a service via the internet - it says currently unavailable to call the number given and an operator will call you back within 24 hours funny enough its the same voice posing as charlotte/stacy and many others - oh and by the way what a nice house you have and also the cars parked on the driveway - not a bit of wonder you can afford such a big house and cars, is that why you rip old age pensiors off and take money out of there accounts before they have had chance to stop the direct debits BOGUS COMPANY -you ought to be ashamed

You can look at the homeguard direct website, we are not a bogus company. The main office is in Littlehampton and another one in Portsmouth. We are not a bogus company we do offer a proffesional service. Of course it is going top be a different person when you phone we are a call centre.
Why should we be ashamed for reducing payments, if anything we are saving people money.

I've been had too, they are very convincing, making you think they are part of sky, i am normally very wary but this time i wasn't,  they knew that i hadn't made a claim from sky, knew part of my sort code which i have found out since when i rang them back up  that they know the start of halifax and nat west etc sort codes i.e halifax starts with 11, so they say it crafty so you will give them the rest of your details. Don' deal with them.

If you have another site in Portsmouth then why is the address not shown on the one you give - I bet they are ripping the pensioners down south off, just like you are ripping pensioners off now - I have found a better insurance company a far lot cheaper thany you rip off people with and it is better anc cocha too AND THEY ARE REGISTERED - WHY ARE YOU NOT?????????? most other businesses are

You are on the website but - it clearly states this item is currently available and to ring you on the 08006222710 where an operator will contact you - oh by the way I note that your address is listed as ex directory so why are you running a business from a private address - answer that one.

Well done Brenda, at least you wont get rippled off like my mother in law was - we contacted FSA to see if they were registered and no they are not - so what does that imply they are running a business without being resgisteed naughty naughty

TPS is a good service but they cannot guarantee stopping all calls - for instance if you order something out of a catlogue and give them your telephone number they sell it on if uyou do not tell them you do not want it given to other people  same as other companies etc etc.

HOMEGUARD DIRECT LIMITED may be a legitimately registered company but their telesales scripts are far from legitimate. Purporting to be a company you are not (such as www.skyprotect.com , as in this case) is misleading and falls under misrepresentation. Attempting to scam bank and or card and Sky details is yet another offence.

got a call today from a lady who said since i had not needed to make any claims on my insurance for sky they could reduce my payments. she told me to cancel domestic & general insurance company and the insurance company she was encouraging me to deal with now is home guard direct. W ho are they ?
