It's an NHS Number usually to confirm Appointments

I keep getting calls to me mobile and do not answer, I have now blocked the caller and keep getting voicemail messages to say I have a message, when I check there is no message.

I'm not sure about this, but believe the message about voicemail comes from your service provider rather than the nuisance caller. and that you can control whether or not to receive such alert messages.    Might be worth checking your provider's web site for details of how to do that.

This is a generic NHS greater Glasgow landline number.

This morning, after a few wines with friends last night I got woken up at 4.16a.m from this number. All I heard was a bleeping noise and then it rang twice more within 5 minutes. I googled number and saw it was a NHS no and was probably someone from a hospital phoning. I got such a fright I felt shaky. Ended up phoning close family and waking them up at that time to see if everyone was okay. My husband phoned local hospital today and they traced the calls but could not confirm which dept. had phoned. Said it might have been a glitch as daughter had an upcoming orthodontic appointment but they would check it out and phone back - still waiting for their response! So annoyed about this!

I've had a call from this number before, regarding an nhs complaint and also given an appointment time.
I had a missed call today from it and they only called once with no message left, I am awaiting an appointment from urology so it's quite frustrating to not have a number to return the call.

This number keeps calling me and will not answer me when I call them back it says no calls can be accepted on this number please can you stop this as its affecting my health Now

If I receive a missed call  I expect to be able to contact that caller to know why they called me. All I get is "this number does not take incoming calls" .I belive this constitutes a cold call.

Its not a weegi number I stay in Edinburgh and got the same phone call from the same number.

got 2 calls on answer machine asking for me by name wont answer it had too many scam artists on my system

I had 4 calls from this number on friday wont leave a message keep thinking they keep dialling the wrong number

mine was a health visitor trying to arrange an appointment

Absolute disgrace was someone phoning wanting to talk to my gran when I asked who was calling or could I talk a message she said no due to confidentially she could even tell me who she was now I see it's an nhs number I'm disgusted they wouldn't atleast tell me that hope it wasn't anything important she was an ignorant person

It was nhs scotland number (wishaw general hospital) automated call to confirm an appointment I never made, if you don't answer in the first ring it hangs up and it calls back at random times

This number came from the new Children's hospital in Glasgow,  specifically the orthotics department. I rejected it as I thought it was PPI or similar.  Not good NHS!
