I just missed 2 calls from this number I'm also waitin on a phycology appointment common threw

Had this number phone me at least twice, and many people say this is a number for hospitals in Scotland, like wuh?

Got a call from this number today..rang off after 5 x rings and not blocked by our BT Call Guardian.
Called them back & got a "this number does not accept incoming calls".
Blocking on BT Call Guardian.

Received two calls on consecutive days from this number. Both time they managed to circumvent my call blocking software. Both time the call dropped just as I was attempting to answer it. No voicemail message left and no means to call them - the number does not accept incoming calls. Frustrating, more so as previous comments are suggesting it is from NHS Glasgow area and I am awaiting treatment.

This was an automatic appointment reminder. A text would have been better as I never answer unknown numbers and had to google it then ring the number on my appointment letter to find out what it was

We deal with quite a few NHS departments and this number calls us quite often.  They never leave a message and there is no way to phone back.  Frustrating.

I got a call from this number and like others saw it was an 0800 number and gave it no thought.  Then I looked here and it appeared to be an NHS number.   Now I have just had a blood test for certain issues that I have been very concerned about and panicked that it might be something very serious as the news was same day.  I called my doctor to find out if they knew what it was.   I am former cancer patient and I was also awaiting a scan and it turned out the doctor thought it might be to do with that.  I have been anxious about it and been waiting some while for an appointment.   It turned out after 20m on the phone passed from pillar to post at a Glasgow hospital, that it was a call to offer a cancellation. Which by the time I called was filled.  I find it absolutely incredible that such a number which you cannot reply to and there are no messages from is being used for such serious matters.  The staff advised me to save the number on my phone as NHS so that it comes up as an NHS number and not some 0800 number.

Keep getting calls from this nvr and don't no b who it is or why they calling

Received 2 calls from this number today. 1st call polite Scottish lady asked for someone by a name different to mine, the second time she phoned I asked who she was. She was very reluctant to say and stumbled over her words but eventually said she was from 'Substance misuse' and seemed quite desperate to speak to the lady. Whoever the lady is, she must have given the Misuse team the wrong number, which happens to be mine. I hope they connect with her....somehow.

It is the number from the nhs it’s the dept that phones people n u cant phone it back x it’s not the switchboard x

Been called a few times by this number , I don’t mind them calling but think they should leave a quick msg if no reply just making us aware that nothing dreadful or worse has happened to a family member or close friend because it puts u in a state of fear with your normal rational thoughts become borderline psychotic!!!!  It only takes a second to leave a msg don’t u think ????
