7 missed calls on my office answer machine when I came in, message sounds like a fax machine. 8 times i have answered the phone in space of half hour to hear fax machine noise. Very annoyed district nurse

even free phone numbers can be nuisance calls....anyone knowing this one please record it here...

First i was sent a letter from the cancer screening company i threw the letter away because it said that if i was to go ahead with it before i got in the door i was to pay an admittance fee of £129.00 and whoever it was were putting mesages for me to ring this number and if i did it my answering machine said there would be a charge for this call so i threw everything away but i am still getting my home phone rung every hour and it was saying the same thing they were only to ring back this number but as my answering machine kept replying if i answered it it would cost me so i still have the number in my home phone number in case i need to inform the police so who is it that is calling me?

I had a call from 0800 6783393 on my mobile at 10:33am 1st March 2016 from what I've been reading it's a Glasgow NHS number, I'm nowhere near Glasgow, I'm miles away and certainly don't have any NHS appointments, plus they don't have my mobile number! I think it's some sort of scam, I have set my mobile to unknown numbers of any sort apart from what's in my contacts, I don't know how anyone can still get through!
NOT HAPPY - I shall be putting that in the block box with rest of them...

I had a call from this number at 1658 today. My phone was on my desk; there were precisely 3 'double rings', and then-as I said 'hello' the caller hung up!....what's the point of making a call, only to hang up after just 3 'double-ring' sounds!!!!

Maybe they have the wrong number recorded for a patient they are trying to contact, if they do call please answer as they can then know it's a wrong number they have for the patient and can try to find out the correct one.

Well they should leave a message or put it in writing.  Can't be bothered

Generic NHS Scotland number.  Was called by A&E department in Fife today to inform us elderly grandfather was there.

I had two calls from this number this morning. Knew I had a hospital appointment so called their office in case it had been changed again. The operator says it will be an appointment reminder call similar to what you get from dentists etc. No messages were left on my mobile.
