Why did you not leave a message. It is disturbing to get a phone call that just hangs up when I do not answer. What is the point other than to cause distress

This is a reminder call for an NHS  appointment that is coming up in the next few days. So no problem even if you you were out when the call was made. You know now what it is for.

some one called me not long ago. at 6.00 don't knew who the person calling me

This number come up for various outgoing calls from all of NHS Glasgow, no point calling this number back to ask who is looking for you as it connects to NHS switchboard who have no way of tracing who has been trying to contact you it may be appointments it may be any other member of staff from your hospital or gp service etc. Only thing you can do is answer the call when it rings otherwise you wont find out no need to worry or panic if they need to contact you they will always call back and reason the dont no leave voicemail is because of confidentially just incase the number they are calling is no longer used by person they are trying to contact

I live in East Yorkshire and have been called by this number. No idea who it is.

Missed call from this number at 03.11 am.  If this is a genuine NHS call like others say why an earth would they phone at that time?  Thank God my phone is on silence during the night.  Secondly others have stated Glasow hospital, I live nowhere near there or Scotland so again it's a mystery to me

I think it is NHS, non incoming.
Calling with regard to appointments.

It's a genuine number that has been spoofed by a scam calls operation, otherwise why would NHS Scotland be phoning somebody in Gloucestershire ?????

My son has received a  call from this number while in Cambridgeshire an area designated for tier 4 on boxing Day. Why are they calling him?

Says message left but calling EE reply number wants me to set up a greeting message but doesn't give me the left message.

Appears to be on expected NHS business - picked up message this time after EE greeting message nonsense

Didn't ring long enough for me to answer. Seems it is a genuine generic NHS Glasgow number that has also been hijacked by scammers. Very worrying to patients waiting for NHS call as it doesn't allow call back. The NHS should include an identifier or should get the scam investigated.
