Its actually possil Park dental practice in Glasgow !! Managed to get them on normal 0141 number and it was them calling back.

It's an nhs number, customer phoned me from it, then messaged me from their mobile.

Defo an nhs number someone from camhs just left a voicemail from this number🙂

Must be generic nhs number as I had missed call from it then realised they had left a msg and it was from camhs in Renfrew X

Keep getting a call from 08006783393 I answer they hang up

why call it you don't leave a message and I can not call back as it does  not take phone calls

This is NHS Glasgow, as far as i know. It is usually an appointment reminder call, to cut down on wasted appointments that people dont turn up for. It doesnt leave a message, except if an appointment had been changed, as it is an automated system!

just received a call from this number it was. very glad sites from my GP practice informing me that a new prescription would be ready to collect. very glad that sites like this exist !

Called me on my landline and mobile.   Who is this?   I am not in the Glasgow NHS area.

From my experience this is the number with an automated appointment or prescription reminder from numerous NHS boards. I work in the NHS myself and they do this to reduce the number of missed appointments/ forgotten prescriptions.

It is the generic number for NHS Scotland, usually to confirm appointments.It is automated and requires keypad input to get the correct person. Obviously no message can be left due to patient confidentiality rules.

This number is also used for NHS appointment reminders, it's an automated call that you receive one week before your appointment so that you can confirm that you will turn up.

If this is a hospital or clinic making a call, why don't they leave a message?  Waste of time and money otherwise
