I think you are all unbelievable. Perhaps you may want to stop and think of all the people who do wrongly claim benefits (and what you would all have to say on that) and those single parents who are struggling to bring up their children because the other parent cannot be bothered to pay what they LEGALLY should. Christine, perhaps you should consider yourself lucky that you have a hard working fella who wants to provide for his family. Not everyone has that luxury and makes the mistake and getting involved with people who do not have the same morals as your other half clearly does. For those of you who have had this number call them i would imagine that they are calling you to update you on a claim you have made for a benefit of some kind (as commented above by some) or alternatively you are exactly as Ralph has referred to as are dodging paying for something or someone that you should!

it is teh csa as my evil ex has fikled 1 against me and knew they were ringing they do track your movements at that time on phone records shocking really be very carefull how u reply to texts etc could all be evidence ,,,, shocking really

it is definatly csa they had all my details knew the lot plus my ex knew they were calling,,, if your worried '''BIN THAT SIM CARD''' being tracked i cant believe how low some people stoop

i had call from this number today 08007838527, fem on other end refused to confirm wqhere she was calling from unless i confirmed my details, why should i give out my details to a complete stranger. phoned the number back and got msg saying that they would call back but still no info on who was calling

Just had a call from this number with from a woman asking for my brother who hasn't lived at this address since August 2008, so obviously their records aren't up to date.

When I asked her for her details (company info) so I could let him know if he pops in by chance (I don't know his mobile number), she said 'I can't say'. If you were that secretive, love, then how come can I get your number just by dialling 1471?

Man wanting to talk to Mrs ***  Would not reveal his identity or which organisation he represented. I said I was not willing to talk to anyone who phoned my mobile and was not willing to identify themselves.

Had 6 calls from this number in 24 hours.
Everytime I pick up they hang up.
Then the usual recorded message with no detail when you ring back.

Rang DWP and the girl I spoke to said there is a common 0800 number that several government departments 'appear' to ring from but didn't confirm what the number was.
Also, of course, she couldn't tell me who was trying to ring me.

I don't claim anything and don't have a pension or kids and have no idea why they are ringing my mobile or how they got the number.

So, I'm just getting my mobile company to block the [***].

was called by this number 2day found it very suspicious foned CSA and they have never heard of the number b4 they are investigating who is using there name as a fraud they knew all my details and my daughters details still not convinced getting rid of my fone like my privacy dont like to be followed and random peeps knowing my business the cheeky fackers!!!!

i just received a call today too on my mobile i was in a mtg and couldn't take the call the number displayed on my phone was 0800783527.  I was left the same eerily ambiguous message "can I call back regarding an urgent BUSINESS matter" but no other identifying remarks.  I called the number but it kept ringing then rang off - bizarre.  As i'm at the computer I googled the number and this site came up first.  having read the comments I find it all a bit disturbing to be honest and very underhand.  if government agencies need to make contact on legitimate grounds they should do so in an upfront, transparent way.

I applied for income support on the internet and was promised a call back within 2 days regarding my claim - I was surprised when I got a call from this number and it was indeed regarding my claim (they even called back within the two days!)

Maybe the CSA are in the same office? It certainly isn't a scam..

this is 1000% the csa i am in the process of sortign out a deal with them money wise they ask you to accept or deny parentage then take the money direct form your wage so theres no way you wont be getting had,,, no doubt the spitefull ex will have gave them your name ,, dob place of work and family contacts they can find u easy basicaly be clued up before contact,,,,

go on the csa site and look at the csa calculator and youll suss everythign u need to know out the main thing is how many nioght u have your kid over,,, u pay 7 days so all 77 days with no over nights is the full 7/7 if u have your kid 2 nights its 5/7ths etc,, so they reduce them days from the total youd pay ;)

I got a missed call from this number this morning and looking it up on the internet brought me to this site.  Seeing mentions of Jobseekers Allowance jogged my memory.  I filled in an online form to start claiming a few days ago and the online form said someone would call me.  Anyway, they rang a second time and I answered and spoke to a very nice lady concerning my claim. Nothing dodgy whatsoever as far as I'm concerend!

Ive had several of these calls. I have involvements with the csa and have never withheld any information. When people phone asking for my details yet will not tell me who they are or what agency they are from its a bit much. They can tell me who they work for surely before they expect me to give any details out. They rang me afterall. I just tell them to write to me instead since they have my details on record. If they are who they are? that is lol
Ive recieved generic e-mails from a csa looking e-mail address until i realised that the 4 attachments to the mail where adverts one of which was "congratulations you from ? at this time ? today have won an audi a4"???? Not good. One was a pic and the other 2 where trojans acording to mcafree which where trracked to sanfransisco??? Strange.

had a call from this number, refused to say who they were when politely asked and stated it was a very private matter. I said she could not speak to my husband unless she told me who was calling, she refused to and hung up....nice.  Googled the number and this is what came up....how underhanded can you get...thanks Google

This number called me at 11.05 but I didn't answer as I don't recognise the number. It called a second time about 5 minutes later so I answered. A gentlemen asked for 'Donna Golding' but did not specify where he was calling from or anything. I am not Donna Golding and have no idea who she is so absolutely no idea why he was calling my number. I told him he had the wrong number and he said 'oh sorry.. bye' and thats it... odd

i'm only a KID, and these guys call me up and leaving me a voicemessege....who are these people man. dont they have a LIFE

i have had 3 calls this morning tryed to ring it back but just get a message saying we will all you again grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr  i hate this who is it and even if you pick up right away it give me the message.

just phoned, i missed, then the phones again hour later, was Jobseekers Allowance people as i had made a claim via the online method, nice woman saying she had got the claim.
