Pain in the [***] . and its not the only one as swinton insurance were doing the same . but finally managed to get that stopped when local office called me to renew insurance .needless to say no longer insured with swinton .

Daily NUISANCE calls, which wake me up (night worker) need to be stopped!! If I do answer the phone then I will be EXTREMELY rude

Called us at 8:13 and 9:00 in the morning... on a Sunday!!!  Totally unacceptable.  Will be writing a stiff letter of complaint, threatening to change utilities provider unless they stop this intrusion.

Phoned several times in the last few days with a dead line on pick up.  They finally made it through today.  Was expecting it to be British Gas but turned out to be BT trying to get me to re-join their line rental.

THEY HAVE JUST CALLED MY MOBILE, I DO HAVE A SERVICE ACCOUNT WITH THEM, ONLY THING THOUGH I HAVE NEVER GIVEN THEM MY MOBILE NUMBER AS I NEVER GIVE TO ANYONE BUT PEOPLE I KNOW,,,,,,,SO WHERE DID THEY GET MY NUMBER,,SO ANNOYING

3 silent calls in the space of a minute.

We have already spoken to them 1x today - their complaiants dept as they did not turn up for appointment on Friday.  They are going to reimburse us £30.00.  ,aybe these silent calls are related?

08009806166 called me today trying to help me with a claim.  I have no idea why they called me as I have never given them my details etc.

Foolishly left my number to get a quote from BG's website several hours earlier. Non-urgent and they apparently will call me back later - too bad I have caller ID ;)

I have had so many nuisance calls from them since I took out a maintenance contract with them BRITISH GAS, that I am seriously considering cancelling my contract after the next safety check.  They keep ringing trying to sell me additional services which they are only third party to such as drains insurance.  Scoundrels. Also calling at unsociable times such as late pm or early morning.  The calls seem to be computer generated as it is a while before a "human" joins the call.

2nd call today from this number, when I answer there's no one there,  is it a scam?

A polite phone call tot heir customer services department works just as well, and they will probably give you something for the inconvenience :)

Could be legitimate calls. Was expecting an annual check but British gas called me to reschedule the service because of their short of staff.

Rang 11.30am today.Picked it up and no-one there.

Received call on mobile (my office phone) at 09:30 on a Sunday morning. By the time I got to it timed out.

I am getting fed up to get so many calls, that is fifth call I had in two days. Please back off and stop calling me

British gas.  I got my boiler repaired by them last week. I am not a customer.  Thing is I only gave them my mobile for correspondence for the repair etc, but they are calling on my landline...which I never gave them!

Sick of this number calling me on my landline and also mobile - I have asked them not to ring again but they totally ignore that remark!   Have we no privacy and peace these days???

This is British Gas aking for a quick survey about a recent check up from their engineer.
